Absolutely THE BEST place to get fries or poutine in the city. The fries are nice and crisp, and their poutine is delicious and doesn't make me nauseous, which seems like a difficult task to pull off. Even their small size is pretty substantial for a guy like me; I don't know if I'd be able to down a large size or bigger in one sitting. Seating areas inside are limited to a few benches, so don't always expect to be able to eat in.
The absolute best poutine I have had the chance to try. The gravy is savory and smooth. Cheese curds are awesome. Best of all, the fries stay crispy even all the way at the bottom while covered in gravy. Just AWESOME.
The poutine here is definitely worth a try. I’m from Montreal and it’s the best I’ve found on the west coast. Very tasty and good portions. Just make sure to call the place before going because they were closed early despite the times displayed. Disappointed wasn’t able to get more.
Something which I see a lot on the internet is to try out Poutine when in Canada, and so I went to Fritz, looking at all the great reviews. However, I was a bit disappointed, being new to the place, there wasn't much help as to what is good and what isn't. This for me was a bit underwhelming to be honest. The Mayo was out of stock, and I read that this would be the cherry on the top of the Poutine. I may not try this place in a hurry, but maybe its just that I was expecting a bit more from the poutine,
Wish I could go back for more! The best poutine ever, the portions are great and the options for toppings are fab too! Not too expensive for such good food, would definitely recommend. This is proper poutine!
I’ve been to Montreal and I would say this it far from the authentic poutine you can get there.They put too many sauce in your cup, which makes whole fries soggy.Considering the price, it’s not so bad if you want some snack or just something for your stomach
So many options I had mine with bacon crumbs and a cilantro (coriander) pesto. Every bite was yummy. And they have plenty of different flavoured seasoning salt to try out.
I do love the gravy at Fritz. The fries are nice and crispy, and the gravy has a strong pepper flavor and a great texture, which seeks the deal for me.The cheese isn't the absolute best, but it does work well (good texture, but not squeaky on my last visit).This is my favorite poutine restaurant, one that I crave more than anything else. It is great to get an order and then go for a wander while munching on that magnificent taste experience.
This was the best poutine I’ve had in Vancouver so far.Perfect gravy to cheese ratio.Perfect crunch on the fries.Perfect portion size and value.Perfect service!Only recommendation I’d make is to have some pre-set poutine combinations made by your lovely team!Will be back!
