It is hard not being able to celebrate with her because we are in different bubbles. One of the best Hainan chicken on rice I’ve had - came with salad, pickled vegetables and soup (which was just chicken broth). Meal felt healthy even with the crispy Thai chicken wings add-on. Highly recommend and would order again.
Angus An is the BOMB! I recently tried Freebird's Hainan Chicken and it is gooood. I don't love the soft chicken skin, but each element of the dish is so fresh, bright, and flavourful and come together to create the perfect party in your mouth.
Got the hainanese chicken rice. The portion of chicken was extremely tiny compared to every other place I’ve tried. The price was also 4$ more expensive than most other places too. Chicken was dry, tasteless and bland. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.
Ordered the Half of a whole Roasted chicken meal for $22 and I was taken back to the Asian style roast chicken that I grew up eating in Malaysia. The minced ginger sauce that went with it was the kicker, next time I will definitely go back for the full bird.
Cool little spot tucked away in chinatown. You wouldn't even notice it walking by. Quick and friendly service for some chicken over rice. Definitely worth checking out.
Friendly and relatively quick service (went during the Lunar New Year in the early afternoon). Tried their Hai Nan chicken rice. Portion is normal sized. Overall not too bad, especially if you like super salty food!

Really good Hainese chicken rice. They give you a pretty big portion too.The bbq chicken is also really good but a little too boney. Decently priced for what you get. Cool little hole in the wall shop. I’d go back again and try more.
