On Monday June 27th we stopped by about 1:00 pm to place an order for 12 people, for a 5:15 pm pickup. Amar was very helpful with menu suggestions and helping us decide how much of the different items would be needed. The order was ready to go at 5:15 as agreed. The food was beautifully prepared, fresh, flavourful and perfectly seasoned. Lamb and chicken were very moist. Prawns were perfectly cooked! Our family & friends were all very impressed and asked us which restaurant we’d ordered from! Delicious!! We will certainly order again! V. Paul, Point Grey
This place is a hidden gem! I really recommend this place to anyone looking for some really good quality food and service .The owner will come out and make sure that everything is in top notch The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great , I have to say. I enjoyed every single bite of the meal and would recommend anyone to this place .
Unfortunately my experience with food was not the best.DRINKS 12cad not worth it. Mojito was full of mint and no flavor. My friend left half of it.SALAD Greek salad was colddddd like almost frozen so not fresh at all and on top of that, it is my first time gratted cheese was replacing feta.CALAMARI was from frozen to fried. Unflavored.Olives were GOOD.BTW NO HAPPY HOUR MENUFun fact when I called they mentioned each hour is happy BUT not MENU so full price EVERYTHING. Whoever answered the phone should be honest to say NO HAPPY HOUR MENU.3 ⭐ for service only.
The food quality was pretty good. The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed our food. However, it’s not as authentic as some other Greek places.
Delicious food. Friendly service. We got the calamari, prawn souvlaki and moussaka, some drinks and the tiramisu. You could tell they take pride in making the food. All were very good. I liked that we were spaced out very well from other guests.
My daughter and I have checked this restaurant out twice now in the last month. During Dine Out Vancouver, everything was excellent but we were not crazy about the crusted halibut. The Mussels with Focaccia was okay, but unfortunately we had several closed mussels with that order. On both occasions we ordered the Beetroot & Arugula Salad and the Trio of Mezze. Both are absolutely amazing. This last time we tried the Mushroom & Mascarpone Ravioli, which we also highly recommend. The ambience, our Server, the Staff, are all fantastic. We will definitely return and will recommend to friends.
I dined at Four Olives as part of Dine Out Vancouver one week ago, having never been there before. I was impressed with the quality and beautiful flavours of their offerings. I started with a beetroot, goat cheese, and arugula salad - fresh and incredibly delicious. The lamb souvlaki was tender and flavourful, accompanied by spinach salad, roasted lemon potatoes, and rice with dried cranberries - a delightful twist! The chocolate mouse with raspberry coulis was delectable. The food and service were so good that I am inspired to write my very first restaurant review!
Went during Dineout Vancouver in a party of 7. The waiter was a bit stiff and didn't give me the friendliest impression however, the staff were very considerate of the timing for food rollout (as some of us ordered appetizers and some did not). Food was great and the dineout menu was filling for sure. Everything tasted great. The place was small and atmosphere was dimly lit but it was a cozy, intimate experience.
My friend from Victoria in town for few days , she want to try the Four Oliver Restaurant , because she love and missed this restaurant when she went to UBC for her PH.D , so we dropped in for lunch , it is very cozy casual Mediterranean restaurant , no problem with the Covid guidelines , we both feel comfortable with the booth , not busy at all , only few tables with few patrons around , menu lot to choose and not expensive at all , we both got out eyes on Dine out Vancouver menu , great value and looks awesome for $39 ! the garlic prawns very flavourful , ( little too much garlic ! ) my lamb Souvlaki not dry , juicy and tender incredible taste , my friends Sablefish looks delicious , she love every bite , it is not Lunch ! it is all most Dinner , good portion size ! plus icing on the cake , Chocolate Mouse , truly it is one of the best Mediterranean restaurant in Vancouver with professional service , so far this is one of my top pick Dine out Vancouver . they open 7 days a week but closed on Wednesday for lunch ~~ Dine Out Vancouver #3 ~~
Food is really good and service is excellent. Portions are quite filling. We ordered the mussels, lamb shoulder (Kleftoki), lamb souvlaki and the blackend chicken sphagetti. But maybe due to covid we are the only table on a Sunday brunch hours which is sad. Hope people can support our local restaurants so they can survive through this pandemic.
