I always come back to Forage. I am in Vancouver for work purposes several times a year and I always pay at least one visit to Forage. I love their local food and wine and every time I’m here they have a new twist on the menu card. I love the sourdough bread! And not to forget - their service is always amazing and down to earth.
Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve had in years. Almost every single item was local, from the cocktail ingredients and wines to the cheeses in the desserts. The service was wonderful and friendly. The duck chowder starter, and aged duck main course are not to be missed. Absolutely phenomenal. The bison short rib was a revelation. The Neufchâtel cheese puff dessert was divine. The bartender was friendly and our waiter, Salvatore, was very good at advising us all evening on menu choices. Would come back here again and again.
Fantastic meal, great service. The salmon was especially delicious, and we enjoyed the opportunity to try a cider flight.
we came in without reservation, and were sat at the bar. Michael was an amazing host/bar tender, he made sure we had everything we wanted, made us taste some drinks when we asked for recommendations. The food was amazing, on top of it being green with everything sourced localy. Sure to visit again.
Loved the bison steak! All of the dishes were very flavourful. Beautiful quiet back patio. Great local BC wine list.
Poor service, went with high hopes. Was not explained the optimal way of ordering as the menu does not function like in other restaurants. Therefore, our experience was immediately diminished by our choices. Even so, when food finally came out, waiter explained order didn’t go through, so after patiently waiting one dish was brought cold (a meat dish), and the other one undercooked. No apologies or explanations. We felt underserved.
Amazing location for breakfast. Bison hash and Smoke Salmon Benedict are an excellent choice. The pancakes were very nice.
Everything was very good. We were seated promptly, they also have small little garden and plenty of places inside.We ordered 2 salmon egg benedicts1 cappuccino1 english teaEgg benedict was very good. Just a muffin was hard to cut but rest were very good. The only thing that I didn't like that coffee came in very small cup, across the street at PAUL coffee was double size of that for the same price. Also they egg benedicts are higher in price compare to other restaurants that we went.
The staff were friendly and the interior of the restaurant was clean and modern. We ordered the bison hash and the smoked salmon benedict. Both were very delicious and nicely presented. We enjoyed our time eating here!
