We went there last week for my birthday. It was an amazing experience. There is not doubt that this restaurant has the mesmerizing views of mountains and ocean. Talking about the food, each and every item on the menu is a must try. The apple dessert was the best example of delicacy and fine taste. Lastly, I would like to say than you to the professional staff for the wonderful hospitality.
The customer service level of our server was exemplary and definitely made our 30 year anniversary a special event! We greatly appreciated the way the restaurant made special efforts in making our dinner memorable. We will definitely come back.
My company took some clients out to Five Sails. The food was outstanding!We took more clients out for lunch the next day!It is pricey, but very very deliciousI had the Lobster, then Halibut (my personal favorite) & a couple of desserts ?
We have been greeted quite average, and when asked for a better view table which was available, and stayed empty for the whole afternoon, we were denied. It was 4 of us and there were a few better seats available. The food was good, and the waiters were great but the hostess was not good. I was with good company so I enjoyed myself but the experience all in all was average.

Food quality is good, but not as good as two and a half years ago before ownership change. Service is okay tonight. The service before ownership change was exceptional. With tonight’s dining experience, I no longer think Five Sails would continue to be my designated fine dining choice.
I was searching for a nice and romantic dinner for my Vancouver trip. Five sails were spectacular. The check choice menu is pretty good and inclusive, in my opinion. We were lucky and got a seat right next to the window. However, one unique thing about this place is the tables with love seats for couples to enjoy the view. I highly recommend this place and it's a must-go.
If you want to experience the essence of Vancouver fine dining with the best view in the City with outstanding food and service , this is the place! Having dined at all the 5 star restaurants in the city, Five Sails stands alone at the top. Outstanding experience and a must visit when here!
Highly recommend coming here! Drinks were really fancy, very esthetic and tasty! Menu had good assortment and it was all fantastic! Desserts were also amazing! Overall great drinks, great menu, great service and great atmosphere!
A friend and I arrived at 2 pm, no reservation. We were seated at a lovely window table and had a wonderful time. Geoff could not have been more helpful with menu suggestions. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
Very fancy and elegant!A fine dining dinner date in my special day.I was so speechless how elegant the place is..The food and service is excellent even tho the serving of the is so little.But they have a complimentary dish on side.Overall is was a good experience to be in this place..its inside of the hotel.Then we park underground and use the elevator.
