I tried the Chicken Burger Combo ($14). It was hands down the largest 2 pieces of chicken I've ever in a burger. The skin was crispy, and the meaty was very very juicy. It has a light Asian-style spice to me, and it tasted a bit like Taiwanese chicken nuggets. Bun was decent too. Nothing amazing about the fries.Onion rings were pretty good too ($5) for the portion. Not too oily.They also have these little individual ice creams, I think it was about $2 each. Not a must have, but it's pretty cheap and a good idea if you want something small at the end of a greasier meal.Staff were nice enough, and the dimly lit restaurant/store more suitable for to-go/takeout style. There are a few tables, but there is no washroom.
I would have to say this is the worse chicken place I've had. I always order everything on my first try.Chicken was oily and soggy. Fish was mushy and soft. Popcorn chicken was bland while their batter on everything else was peppery. Wings, please refer to photo. Yes the chicken burger is big.
One of the best chicken place in town. Generally from order to out the door is 5-8 minutes. Because they make it fresh right after you order. Chicken’s good! Fires are good! Chicken and fish burgers are also fantastic!
Ordered from UberEats. Spicy chicken sandwich and crispy chicken sandwich were very discoloured (basically grey) and made me feel ill. Also more batter than chicken. Fried were greasy and gravy for mashed potatoes tasted processed (like instant gravy). Maybe we had a bad batch, but would not be ordering again.
Finally, the closest fried chicken place to go to and this place is lit! Their fried chicken is boneless except the chicken leg and that’s fine. Chicken is not too salty which I like. Breading is not too thick not too thin. The gravy compliments the fried chicken coz it’s not too salty. Everyday deals are awesome! I hope they don’t change their recipe especially the size and their deals!! <3
Chicken is very fresh and well cooked. Regular is very plain tasting so get a different kind if you want. If you order the burger be prepared for a huge amount of chicken in that burger. Friendly staff, very fast too. Limited indoor seating. Close to public transit.
Drive by this place and gave it a try. The chicken pieces were huge! The bun barely covered not 1 but 2 pieces of chicken and the veggies and cheese were not even noticeable and to me that’s fine. Gotta say that the crunch was there and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I will definitely come back to have fried chicken wings and other stuff on the menu.
We happened to be in the area and after reading some of these comments, figured we should try these "amazing chicken sandwiches" you all are raving about :pDID NOT DISAPPOINT. If you're on the fence, consider this the push you need!Go. Go now. Order the spicy chicken sandwich combo (it is massive and easily made into lunch AND dinner if you want). Go for a walk at Trout Lake, find a nice place to sit and enjoy ?? We'll all look forward to reading your own 5-star comment raving about how it's your new favorite ?Side note: Some of the pictures I saw made it seem as if they also sell bubble tea. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore sadly.
Excellent value and delicious. Two thighs in a fresh bun per sando. The spicy was yum.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the food at all. I have definitely had worse though. Food was fresh but not enough flavour. ?
