Restaurant itself looks nice. Staff are also friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food is just not that good. The main meals are OK, but the chocolate muffin I got was literally so gross I had to throw it away. ? It has potential! But need to update the recipes!Better food at Keto Caveman Café.
I'm following a Paleo diet for medical purposes, and it is a GIFT to have this restaurant around!! I can order pretty much anything from the menu without alterations. Support this local gem!! The staff are also extremely friendly. We come here at least once a month.
Friendly staff deserves the 2 stars, but our food was really not good. Pizza was horrible and pesto pasta were just not good. They might had an off day but for a slice this expensive it can't be this bad.We won't be back.
Any place claiming to be Paleo without posting nutritional information is a scam.The restaurant has replied saying there is nutritional information online but there is no such section on their website. When ordering online there is information available for about 30% of the items. I did add a star because at least some items have information.
I love the food. My favourite is the lasagna. Desserts are great too. I get lunch here frequently. Only comment - so quiet, maybe some music ?
One thing is to be gluten free and celiac safe but other VERY different is to be keto.I went to this place and I couldn't order anything for lunch, they had no idea how many carbs every item had (except sweets).I was told to check the website cause the info was there, so I checked the website and guess what! It wasn't there, came again and said there's no info on how many carbs this item has and the guy looked at me and said: "I think there might be like 10 carbs" (guessing)... Lol ? is that even an answer?If you are going to say your restaurant is keto at least do some research!!
*Only tried their desserts*I was really impressed with the brownie, and log roll. However, the carrot cake was an extremely small portion and was lacking in sweetness, and the chocolate chip cookie was just not good. THAT being said - it is incredible to see a business tackling keto, and hats off to them for going for it! Keep up the good work Festal! Looking forward to trying their savory items
The food here is excellent. I was able to find many keto options. Very delicious and perfect portions. The staff here are amazing and on the ball. I left my credit card at the cafe and one of the girls kept it safe for me. ❤️ Will likely return.
The Food was very good. I order Butternut Squash Lasagna and it's was fabulous. These guys have tons of Gluten Free and Diary Free option. Love it..?
My first time eating this kind of food but I really liked it. Got the coconut-cream “latte” which was odd for the first couple sips, as coconut in coffee is a new thing for me, but delicious thereafter. I had the sirloin burger-without-a-bun and loved it — the bacon jam was amazing, a blast of umami without being too salty, and *finally* a coleslaw with not a hint of sweetness in the dressing. I’ll definitely be back.
