Good flavour combinations. Very pretty cakes and pastries. That pretty much what you would expect for a award winning bakery.

Visited their W41st Ave. location in Kerrisdale expecting to be impressed. The place was busy, and the staff there were shorthanded. Faubourg is affected by the very common problem in Vancouver, not enough people interested in working in the restaurant industry... Despite being super busy, staff were diligent and explained that drinks in particular, might take a few minutes to be prepared. No problem there. Ordered a Nutella filled crêpe, a couple of macarons, and a double baked pistachio chocolate croissant. In general, the 3 were ok, but not spectacular. The croissant in particular, probably better when recently baked, but by mid day just ordinary, and therefore not worth the price in my opinion. Will have to give their other specialties a try. The cakes, tarts and savoury treats look great, and I'm really hoping that the experience will be more exciting...

I came here with my wife for brunch. The coffee and pastries are definitely worthy of 5 star. The reason why its 4 star is the quiche. It doesnt uphold to the par excellent standard of the fresh sandwiches, cofee and pastries. Therefore, they have to do a relaunch and do an improvement. But of course, i will be back for more experience with Fauborg. One of our favourite Parisian cafes in Vancouver. ❤

January 2, 2022. Walked into this storefront at 12:15. Only one other person in front of me. Two employees on duty. Neither of us were acknowledged, not very polite at all. Ordered two Operatto and two Dark Chocolate spheres. Each item cost over $7.00. Absolute JUNK! The Operatto was crusty and dehydrated from being unprotected while in the refrigerator. The cake part of the Double Chocolate ball also tasted like it had been left uncovered in the refrigerator. Absolutely horrible. Faubourg should be ashamed of themselves for selling sub par products at exorbitant prices. $38.00 went straight into the garbage. Shameful! Will never go back and will never take guests to this pretentious place with their week-old fridge-taste cakes. See photos.

I have to say, I’m so disappointed by the taste. First impression I entered the store was smelling too oily in the air. My jacket was covered oily smell after I came out from the store. The fan system needs to be upgraded. All cakes were well presented and looked really delicious. I shared three cakes with my family. The chocolate tart was most delicious, mango cake was popular as well, good and unique combination of mango and matcha, however, the lemon tart was tasting too much sulphur and egg smells. The tart was lack of aroma, no vanilla extract added. We didn’t even finish half of the lemon tart. In my point of view, generally very disappointed :( Sorry to give 3 stars and will be back to retry around Christmas season.

Not sure why it took us so many years to try Faubourg but we found our new fav in the city!! Definitely worth the drive for us. Even their lattes are five star! We intended on only stopping in for coffees and a croissant but the pastries looked so good we had to order more to take home!

I had very good experience with the other store but this one ?. The sandwich is cold. The store is not clean and non-organized.

Quite disappointed in the quality of baked goods here. The macarons were overly dry, tart shells too thick, and croissants were soft. Perhaps I received day old bakery items? Definitely not returning

Nice local Bakery with a wonderful ambience. The chocolate decadent pastry is wonderful, however, it's expensive considering the small serving size . The crepes and pastry are fresh and flavorful. I would definitely visit again!

I visited this French bakery shop at the heart of Kerrisdale yesterday seeing the pretty pastries, eclairs, tarts on display. There was a long queue inside. The ambience of the place is nice and relaxed. There is a big seating area inside as well as a patio at the back. We tried their decadent tri-chocolate mousse. It was delicious. Most of the pastries cost about 7.6$ which I found to be quite expensive.I would love to try some of their other pastries in future.
