Visited on Aug 13, 2022 for dinner. Tasty Sangria, Spanish coffee, and local beers. We had the delicious Shuckers dozen and the crabmeat appetizers, Poke bowl and fish and chips for dinner, and an amazing dessert. Welcoming attentive staff, and friendly environment. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in town.

My wife and I had dinner here. Excellent seafood chowder, fish tacos and cole slaw. Very good fish and chips. Was busy, but we had made reservations. Waitstaff was friendly and reasonably attentive (it was busy).

This is a great place to enjoy some high quality seafood! We ordered the paella for 2, the grilled oysters, some raw oysters, and the fish tacos. The paella was visually striking with all its colours, and had tons of seafood! In terms of taste, I thought it was good, but became a bit greasy/heavy towards the end. The portion size was great too, we got a paella for 2 and split it between 3 people, and it was more than enough (although we each ordered some oysters as well). I really liked the grilled oysters as well, but my favourite part of the meal has to be the fish tacos. The fish was perfectly fried, and paired perfectly with the pickled onion and the mango aioli. These were by far the most delicious tacos I've ever eaten, and I would come back just for them. Overall I thought the service was professional and the dining environment was nice as well. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of food, but I would probably consider this a 3 dollar sign restaurant, especially if you plan on ordering any oysters.

Everybody very welcoming, great vibe at the bar. Choose this place because they serve geoduck. Also oysters and pork belly where nice. Loved the drinks, the vibe at the bar. This is the kind of place I would like to have in my neighbourhood.

First time visit while on Holiday from the Uk . Typical Yorkshireman who'd never tried Oysters before so I went for the Fish and Chips . My wife went for the crabcakes . Both meals were superb . Staff friendly and efficient and a great atmosphere in a cosy but busy ambience . Friends are Oyster fans so let us try one as this was on my bucket list . Ok I must be a heathen as they just tasted like I was eating seawater so not for me I'm afraid . Everyone else in my party thought they were exceptional so it must be me ......

Fanny Bay never seems to disappoint! They have a fantastic happy hour menu along with some amazing dinner options. Happy hour oysters are $1.75 or $2.50 (premium). Unfortunately they don't take reservations for happy hour so come early! If there's a wait, they will take down your name/number and text you when your table is ready.

We were back from a cruise and wanted something different. It was a good decision. The seafood at Fanny Bay is excellent, fresh and tasty. It’s also served well by people who understand what they’re doing. I had a selection of BC oysters which were truly delicious (and probably the best shucked oysters I’ve eaten) and my partner had s prawn cocktail. We shared the west coat feast which was full of different shellfish and was, again, really tasty. Highly recommended.

Great experience!! Maria and Hanna were awesome and obviously love their business. Had the Halibut, raw oysters, crab cakes. A great place to enjoy the local seafood cuisine.

Girls night out. We had a good time. Server was attentive and kind. Everything was fresh except the 3 big prawns. The meat was soft and tasted like frozen. The bread was the best part of the mussels. We ordered another bread. The fish and chip were super meaty and great batter. Light and sweet sparkling sake was easy to drink.

second order:had an amazing experience on my first serving so i ordered a second serving. and it was so different from the first one? it’s not that i ordered different kind of oyster. i knew exactly which type of oyster i ordered during my second order(cause i pointed to her). it wasn’t the small kind. told the waitress, she just said i ordered the small size oyster.first order:was really good, it’s fresh & you can taste the difference between each oyster.servers were friendly just wished the lady explaining to me could speak louder. nevertheless she did a great job
