I can't say enough good things about Nicole and the staff at Emelle's. We hired them for our wedding and couldn't be happier. We wanted a unique and tasty menu, including an Indian taco buffet. Not only did the chefs exceed our expectations, but the prices were also very fair. Other caterers, who were less flexible with their options, offered less food for the same amount of money, if not more.Nicole in particular went above and beyond what we could expect from a caterer. She helped order items that we wanted as party favors, gave us great advice, and also helped us deal with a disagreement with our venue.I would recommend Emelles for any event, and hope to get a chance to hire them again in the near future.

This is a review for their dine-in restaurant. One of the best places I have been to for a while. Very good for work lunches as you pay upfront at the counter. Food is great and you can tell It's made with care. Homestyle food food for great prices. Great drink selection and a great patio across from a nice park. I've been here several times now and haven't been let down in any way.

Good value spot for a quick lunch.Food tried this visit:1. Barbecue chicken came with choice of fries, soup, or salad. Beef soup was selected. There was plenty of barbecue sauce on the three pieces of chicken. Chicken was fresh but was a touch over cooked.2. Beef dip: au jus sauce was on the thick side and needed more seasoning. It was ok for the price point. More beef drippings/stock, red wine and seasoning could have added more depth to elevate the flavour. Beef itself was over cooked for my preference so was very dry and did not taste fresh. Fries seemed to be house made and were cut well. They could have been fried a few minutes longer for a crispier finish. The salad was fresh and dressed perfectly with a vinaigrette. Note: surcharge required for getting half salad and fries.Service: very friendly and helpfulOrdering: Items can be ordered at the counter or in advance on Ritual.Seating is available indoor and out in the front patio.Paid street parking is available out front.

If you are a person who works somewhere around, you must have visited this place. After my move to Vancouver, I was looking for a "go to" lunch place near my workplace and one day, by sheer chance, I wandered into this place and now I am an almost regular there. All the people that work over there really puts a human touch into everything that they do and they really do care about what your feel about the food that your eat over there. They will accomodate most reasonable requests. Very nice little cozy place to have a quiet lunch amidst a busy day.

I sent food hugs and they were brilliant! Really easy to order and the folks who received them were overjoyed.

Great food and amazing patio for the summer. We really enjoyed the french toast. Very affordable, good quality and nice presentations. Open for lunch 7am to 3pm M to F.

Talk about a hidden unexpected gem! I wish I had found it sooner but it was a great spot. The burgers and soup were delicious, my only regret is being able to go once during my visit to Vancouver.

Attention to detail in every dish, every dessert they make! This place feels like an undiscovered gem, and I'm so glad to support this cafe. Unparalleled quality, and the folks really care about the dishes they make!!

Nice patio outside with both sun and shade. Lots of hot meal options and not just soup and sandwiches! First you order inside then they will bring it to you at your table. I ordered a desert and they brought it to me after my meal, it was great. Cocktails, local beer and wine are also an added bonus. Fresh and yummy. Be sure to check out the menu online for daily specials, it’s the Westside Kitchen Daily Features.

Emelle's catered my small wedding and the food was fantastic. Great selection including dishes for those with dietary restrictions. Everyone raved about the food (roast beef was freshly carved) and I liked it so much we checked out the restaurant as well. The Rusty Anchor may be the best burger I've ever had. Highly recommend!
