I haven’t been back in awhile, but remembered how good the mango coconut sticky rice flavour was. This time, I tried the lemon yuzu and it was tangy good. There was a line up, but it moved along without much waiting. The seating was all taken in this small place…a good sign that their favours are popular. I like the uniqueness of their menu.
Elephant Garden is one those places to have ice creamI have ordered FlyerIt comes with any 4 flavours that we chooseI selected Monster cookies and creamThai sticky riceMangoChocolateThai sticky rice and Mango are the stealers.Would give 5 ratings each for themOverall good experience, taste and ambiance
Me and my friends ordered the Toast with HK milk tea scoop and 2 sets of flights featuring Hojicha Cheese Tea, Vietnamese coffee, Matte milk coco and cookie n’ cream monster for the left. On the right, there’s Walnut carrot cake, Pulut HiTam, Cold brew coffee and biscotti, and Lychee osmanthus. I was told rotational ones updates like every month. Another customer told me he came all the way from Port Moody to get Mango Coconut Sticky Rice from here, sadly that’s the only one we didn’t try (MISSED OUT!). My friends and I all think they are all very good, it’s just the walnut carrot cake and lychee wasn’t our cup of tea. I think most of them are really good so it’s hard to go wrong. A lot of people take out from here so it’s quite crowded. Staff are helping explaining and friendly. When give me the flights, the staff once again run me thru the names of the scoops which I felt their professionalism. Compare to the famous Earnest or Rise and Shine, I think Elephant Garden is a lot more tailored to Asian’s taste bud where it’s not so sweet and I won’t get super thirsty after. Definitely will come again.
This place is super cute and bright. Creative menu with a whole pile of items that sound too good not to try. Rotating menu makes things even more interesting. Whomever is in charge of making the ice cream has serious understanding of how to capture a high quality flavor and let it shine without ever making it overly sweet. An absolute win. Can't wait to go back.
Blown away by their mango coconut sticky rice ice cream! The texture and flavour is so perfect it's like I'm actually eating mango coconut sticky rice in frozen smooth ice cream form! Who ever came up with the recipe is genius. Can't wait to try their other ice cream flavors. Seriously one of the best ice cream flavor experiences I have ever had!
Unique, smooth flavours, Mango Coconut sticky rice ?
EGC is in my TOP 5 best ice-cream spots in Vancouver. Their flavours are so unique and creative and perfectly executed. My absolute favourite is their Mango Coconut Sticky Rice. The coconut is so fragrant, you really feel like you are eating the famous Thai dessert in a scoop.Their cookies and cream is so good as well. Love their scoops.
The Vietnamese coffee is very unique, it tasted wonderful. The toast for it was not too hard and not too soft. The ice cream melting on to it was good with he sweet syrup around it. The Boba, was okay.
We got two flavours;- Vietnamese coffee- Malted Milk ChocoI think it was alright, I guess there weren't lots of flavours I was into when I went for a visit but I wanted to try nonetheless. It was okay, I mean depending on your taste .I feel the comments are going to be very different so at the end it's to give it a try :D+1 : I really like the interior.
Amazing ice cream and service. Really appreciate how much effort the actual owners put into the customer service. Vegan options well appreciated
