I hired El Cartel for my husbands 40th birthday party at our home. 4 days later i'm STILL getting messages from friends about how much they loved the food and how cool it was to have a food truck there. They were not only the nicest guys, they were professional and fun. RJ even made sure I ate by making someone bring me food cause he said he notices how the hosts never get to eat or enjoy themselves. I would recommend them a 1,000 times. Thanks so much El Cartel!!!
El Cartel is top notch. I hired them for a work party and they were amazing to work with. They adjusted the menu options to fit our needs. They are so kind and professional.But the food was absolutely delicious. The beef is next level. The service at the party was super fast and courteous. Everyone was raving about their meals.11/10 DEFINITELY hire for your next event. Actually, throw a party just to have these guys there.
El Cartel food truck catered the lunch in the company where I work, and everybody was amazed by the food. Everything was delicious, with good portions and RJ and his crew were super friendly. Highly recommended
RJ and El Cartel catered our housewarming party for 60 people in our backyard and it was phenomenal despite some potential obstacles. The food truck had engine issues two days prior to the event and RJ called and said he’s never canceled on a customer and he wouldn’t cancel on me. He ended up having the truck towed from Surrey to North Vancouver and the event went off without a hitch. The food was excellent and our friends loved the experience overall. I would hire El Cartel again in a heartbeat!
El Cartel catered our wedding. The food was spectacular. All of our guests were raving about it all night. I especially appreciate their dedication to their fresh churros, which were the best I’ve ever had. Their service was fast. The team on the truck was friendly. The food was absolutely amazing! Honestly wish they had a restaurant so I can order more frequently. Had the pleasure of tasting some of their food at a small catered event. Also the staff working the truck were extremely friendly. Would order again without hesitation.
Had a chicken and a steak taco and both were delicious. The tacos were very filling and very well priced, ingredients are fresh and have a good balance of meat and veggies. Overall the perfect meal on a nice warm day.
If you see them, you gotta give it a try! You don't wanna miss out on their amazing tacos and nachos! We loved the veggie and bulgogi beef tacos?
We had El Cartel cater for a Birthday lunch at our office today. We had a 3 course offering, my choice was the Fried Sweet Chili Cauliflower..fantastic, El Chapo chicken rice bowl...two thumbs up and the cheescake..yum! The food was fresh and hot, the guys were super nice and accomodating (we had some special requests for passover) and they adhered to all the COVID protocals (since we now have to think about such things.) I would 100% say, these guys are worth having to cater an event. Great food, looking forward to the next time!!!
