I visited the restaurant on November 30th 2020. Excellent place, food and services. Nothing negative to comment on. Absolutely perfect.

The service was really very slow and surprisingly the restaurant was not busy at that time also still we had to wait a lot for our food and bill to arrive. We even had to get up from our table and go to the bar to get the refills as we waited 20 minutes for the server to get back. I’m a regular at earls in different locations this was the first time I had bad experience

Great food! Server and kitchen were able to accommodate my meal exactly how I liked it. Tortellini steak was amazing.

I went there with my boyfriend after the CFL game! The waiter was so nice I forgot his name but he has blonde hair. I felt so bad tho. I was a little drunk when paying the bill and instead of tipping 20% I tipped two dollars :/ My mistake but the waiter was super nice! Definitely coming back

Fairly loud room but the service was great and carefully kept to our schedule as we were off to the theatre after our meal. The test kitchen's street corn sharing dish was very good. The white chocolate creme brí»lée was spectacular.

First time at a Earl's in a long time. Also first time at this test kitchen. Great atmosphere, the music was not obnoxiously loud like some other restaurants. The food was delicious and our server was delightful! Highly recommend going if you are DT Vancouver or near Hornby st.

The white chocolate creme brulee is a must! Wings were dry and over cooked, fettucine was basic but our server was phenomenal and made up for the food.

Laura was our waitperson during our visit and was attentive kind and positive. Food came out in a great amount of time and we had a lovely evening. Thanks for the positive experience!

Really good experience. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the manager paired our meal with a complimentary glass of wine. Love the test kitchen surf & turf platter. Top notch all around.

I will say that the food and drink options at the test kitchen are getting better and better. The new avocado dip with corn chips was delicious and the watermelon margarita, yummy! However, my husband and I both tried the Shromami bowl (he had prawns, I had tofu) and they were good but a bit weird; an odd combo of flavours and far too much deep fried tempura veg and not enough 'fresh'. About four different people/servers asked us how the new avocado dip was, and while I appreciate the attention, it was a bit much. Overall, always a good experience at the test kitchen but I don't think we'll be ordering anything Shromami-inspired anytime soon ;)
