Dined here for the first time tonight. It is a lovely restaurant with great views for people watching on W 4th. We had the pizza and it was delicious. Delicious. So much cheese and the toppings were so fresh. The servers were friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience and we can't wait to return (to order pizza again and also try a Greek dish!) Yum!
Good food, the perfect amount of pilaf rice and lemon potatoes on the main dish. The lamb shoulder that my husband had, he said it cooked perfectly. Love to see neighborhood/ family own restaurants like this are still around, we'll definitely be back to try out the pizza next time!
Pizza was burnt, crispy, and barely warm.Was told they were going to deliver another pizza, they called back to inform me that they actually couldn’t deliver another pizza.. they said they were too busy and we could pick one up or have a pizza on credit.. they then agreed to refund the cost. Wings are okay. Garlic bread is basically unseasoned and overly crispy. Wouldn’t recommend!
I was around the neighborhood and decided to try Double DD Pizza. The place is really cozy and has a nice atmosphere. The heavenly smell of pizza hits you as soon as you walk in so I had my expectations really high for the pizza… I got half Double DD Vegetarian and half mushroom garlic and green peppers. The vegetarian one was really tasty and my favorite out of the two, the latter was a bit too salty for my taste. Overall the pizza seemed to be a bit too overdone, the crust was too crunchy and a bit thick. I also got the greek fries with feta and oregano and it came with a delicious yogurt garlic and cucumber dressing 10/10 recommend the fries!Staff is super friendly and helpful, even though the restaurant had a good amount of costumers.
It's hard to know good puzza delivery when you're from out of town. This pizza place was recommended by my daughter and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had! We had the pepperoni, mushroom and bacon pizza. A small was just perfect and the flavors were fantastic. The delivery driver was very personable and friendly; the delivery time was right on time. Awesome customer service and food!

The food was mediocre at best, but what bothered us the most was the server. The service was terrible, we got our mains like half an hour after the salads and the garlic bread came when we were almost done with our food. Also half the place is not suitable for dine in, we were close to the kitchen and the smoke was suffocating us. If you wanna dine in, dont sit anywhere between the entrance and the kitchen or you’ll smell like burned oil when you leave.Never gonna go there again, lots of better option available in the area…
We ordered a pizza for pickup, when we got it home it was like two pizza in one, one side was bad and the other side was worse, not sure how they managed that. Probably the worst pizza I have ever had. We had heard good reviews about this place but I would never order or go to this place since that experience. I should have returned it and got my money back!!!
Absolutely fantastic pizza and a nice little selection of imported beers from Greece as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, or even coming down if you're not in the area. Great location with some interesting shops nearby.
On a Friday night, nothing hits the spot like good pizza and Double D's hits the spot. It's more traditional- thicker crust and heaped with fresh ingredients and it tastes great. This is a popular neighborhood spot for good reason
