Found this place when on Granville st getting tattoos. Friendly and an amazing interior. Great selection of tap and whisky. Def check it out if your down for a pint
We had a very good time & the food was great! The 2 piece fish & chips was enormous! Great service from our true Irish waiter...I'm sorry, I wish I remembered your name!He was very courteous & engaged in conversation about the motherland! A great experience! We'll be back!
Stumbled upon this finely named establishment back when, during their 1 year anniversary. Delicious beers & good times all around. Met the owner and discovered my lineage is from same part of Ireland (Galway). also realized i've been pronouncing my last name wrong all my life..ha. Very memorable evening. Left with plenty of Donnellan swag that i keep on display. Coming back soon for more good times!! Open one down here in Seattle next please
locals are friendly, good beer what's not to like
Ten out of ten. Great service and great drink
Great place with good music and good service. Some live music and good environment.
The positive part was the live music though it should be set slightly lower to allow people to talk to each other.Food was ok tastewise but I had digestive issues afterwards.Employees don't follow the mask mandate at all.Overall a disappointing experience as I was looking forward to trying this place for a while.
Friendly but slow service, uncomfortable seating, and overpriced, mediocre pub food. I haven’t had much experience in the category. Is this is a typical Irish pub experience?
Good value for the food. Loved the live entertainment and the atmosphere was great!
The food tastes alright, and is reasonably priced. However, upon entering this establishment, the server immediately had an obvious issue with my partner and I despite us being very polite. When he asked what was on tap, she responded in a snarky tone: "well that's a vague question," and then just stood there refusing to offer any actual input. She had absolutely no problem being hospitable towards other customers and happily revisited their tables frequently to ask if they needed anything. That was not the case with us and the only time she was actually pleasant, was when we asked for the bill. (bear in mind, it was like 3 pm and this place was empty. So it's not like she was busy). There are too many other pubs in this city that offer exceptional service (and better food) to even bother with this place again.
