Got a lamb donair and falafel with hummus there. Oh boy, I was pretty sure that itbis impossible to screw up the falafel in such way that it becomes inedible, but they did it. It was COLD (like, literally refrigerator cold), greasy and on the inside it wasn't yellow or green - it was BROWN. Immediately threw this culinary abomination to the garbage. Hummus was disgusting as well. No Middle Eastern country would tolerate such mockery on it's cousine's basics, it could only be served in Western country.Regarding the lamb donair - the dominant spice there was salt, other than that it was tasteless. The only good thing about it was that the portion was pretty large, but at the other hand it was too large for that badly tasting dish.

I try not to leave negative reviews, but these guys clearly don't know what a donair is. This is like a restaurant called 'Hamburger Dude' that serves a slice of ham in wonder bread. You would ask yourself, "have these guys ever seen a hambuger before?" Besides the irony of calling a business Donair Dude and not serving donairs, the food just wasn't good. I asked for sweet sauce and I have to wonder if they forgot to put it on. The meat and the pita were both powder dry.

Hi all,Never seen and never heard this thing. I went to donair dude on davie street. I saw that employee was cutting beef, lamb and chicken with 1 knife. Here if someone is allergic to beef and lamb than what. If someone don’t eat beef than what. Even they use same toung. I think every donair dude do the same thing. We have to be careful now while eating outside. Just to know this fact i was shocked. I saw it with my eyes. I am upset. Now i will never go to any donair. Guess what if any one is allergic and they say that okay we will take care but noo they use same knife to cut all the things. They even don’t clean it. Omg i am now scared.

For the second @#%&!! time STD has texted me that my order was delivered when it wasn’t!So for what it’s worth I’ll NEVER be ordering from you while you’re using them as a delivery service. I’m on disability and can’t afford to get ripped off like this.I’ll be dedicated my free time to posting negative reviews about you both ..have a nice day.

The inflation shrink ray hit this place hard. Tortilla donair was like half the size from last year. Shame because I loved this place before and now it's kind of meh.Lamb was pretty dry.

This was a decent place for a quick bite. Donair in Vancouver has been quite a letdown so far. But for what it was, our meal here was fresh and healthy.

Open late, guaranteed to satisfy. Very filling, a pita absolutely STUFFED with meat and whatever else you want. Started coming here back in 2012 and it's still mostly unchanged, still leave here feeling full and happy every time. In comparison a lot of other donair places in the city often leave you feeling not quite full yet. Don't even get me started on the burrito places where you pay the same price for something that is 80% rice. Donair dude might seem expensive at first glance but you get your money's worth.

I grew up in Germany and I have tried "the Döner" and also in Turkey. So I wanted to give it a try during my vacation trip in Vancouver. I ordered the lamb Donair. The meat was very tender and yummy. I enjoyed it. I wished however that they used the traditional Turkish pocket bread with the proper yoghurt sauce "Hydari". Adding hummus to it deviates from the "original" and turns it into a typical Shwarma. The portions are massive. I was able to finish it by myself. One Donair or platter can be easily eaten by 2, even men. The mango dessert was amazing.

While having drinks with my travelling companion Claude, he suggested this place, his favourite.I ordered the lamb donair with my own choices. It was fabulous and told them as well!

A year ago, it was good not great but still worth it, now though, terrible!! They got our Uber order wrong twice. The lamb poutine we got was terrible, meat was dry, curds were not melted at all and it was too salty, I don’t recommend this place at all!
