I came here for the first time last night with my boyfriend and we had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic - we both ordered the chimichanga and it was so flavourful and delicious. The drinks were great too. There was a gentleman singing and playing music who took song requests from the customers - he was so talented. Our server was kind and brought our drinks/food out quickly. Overall the vibes were great and I can't wait to go back again!
Thé live music on a Thursday night drew us in! Server was very sweet. Food was yummy! Had the vegetarian quesadillas, pescado, & chicken chimichanga. The fish was done well and chicken very tasty! Will be back!
Best service on the drive! Very sweet sweet staff. Eve served us, as well as another guy and they were super fantastic!The food is just what you'll find in Southern California/Mexican food and tacos. Delicious!
I've been to their Hastings location so I've been super excited to try the commercial location and I finally had the chance! I love the decor in the restaurant, its super cute and the staff were so friendly! It surprised me when they gave us tortilla chips and salsa to start out with! Ive never been to a Mexican restaurant that did that as a complimentary, I think that was a really nice touch (and the chips were so good!!). We ordered the quesabirria tacos and the huevos rancheros from the brunch menu. Both were really good, the tacos were super stuffed with meat and the cheese, they were perfect! The tortilla on the huevos rancheros was super crispy and the carne asada bites were really flavorful. Definitely enjoyed my meal!
We were curious to check out the place that had taken up the old Stormcrow tavern. It's really good!We got the carne asada with fries and the quesabirria crispy fried tacos. Come hungry because the food is filling. There was live music which was fun and the place was pretty packed by dinner rush.Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying the ramen birria. Sounds like an inventive dish.
Okay, so I know I'm really late to the birria bandwagon but can I just say that they're sooo good!Originally came here to try the fajitas but glad we tried the quesabirria tacos... Tender cheesy beef on the inside with a nice crisp bite to the shell and that dipping sauce... Mmmm.I wish the fajitas filling came out on a sizzling hot plate like it used to at Red Robin's back in the 90's but that just shows you how old I am.
Took the family for Mexican on Saturday and found Don Oso's on Commercial. Great find.Place is very lively with entertainment. A one man band. Can be a bit loud but great atmosphere still. Staff are very friendly and food is great. One of the best "Mexican" restaurants in Vancouver. Portions and price are very easy on the wallet.We had their nachos, Burrito (big enough fir 2), Quesabirria Taco, Fish Taco, Taco Saladand Barros Luco I believe. All were very tasty!Drinks were great too. We'll definitely be back!
Okay friends!! Thank God we stumbled across this amazing little gem of a place! From our excellent service by Adrian to our food, everything was incredible!! Mr osos cooking for us himself with lovely Anna! This is the best birria and tacos I have ever had! Wide range of tasty cocktails too! Can't wait to come back on the weekend for some live music and fun!

Really nice restaurant with a homemade touch, you should definitely try it if you love authentic Mexican food in a bar-disco ambient. Their birria? A must try.
