Food 4/5 Ordered coco cake (great), Daikon cake (good) sesame crisps (good) papaya salad (good) and black garlic eggplant bowl (okay). Overall very good but the serving is so fast that we felt strongly pushed.Service 4/5 attentive but not much introductions about food, she may not feel well as her voice was almost lost. Tea pot can use filter so we don’t have to eat loose tea leaves.Ambience 1/5 lots of flies maybe because lots of plants?…shoes on the way to washroom…really messy…not really acceptable.Honestly I am a little sad because of it could have been a great place but you can just tell people there don’t care…
Honestly one of the best food experiences we have had in Vancouver (Torontonian/Londoner (UK)).Super nice welcome asking us if we wanted a window seat etc. Extremely attentive waiting staff. Special thanks to the young lady who was extra attentive, who gave us tips on eating each dish.Ambience was great. Cutlery and plates/bowls were really cool. In fact, I would love to purchase them!We had: Spring rolls, lettuce wraps, curry bowl, vegan pho. All incredible and a great mix of flavours.Could not recommend this place any more. A great end to our latest Vancouver trip. See you again soon!
Nice decorations, good ambiance, beautiful food presentation but the foods are not as good as the look. The lecture wrap was a bit salty and messy to eat. I liked the rice cake the most among 3 dishes I ordered but it’s kinda soft when it’s supposed to be crispy outside. The vermicelli bowl was quite boring compared to the vegetarian vermicelli bowls I had before. Service was very nice and friendly. I would try this restaurant again and hopefully the food will be better
Holy cow, this place is delicious. I always look at the reviews before deciding where to go and this one had such good reviews. I couldn't not choose it as the place for lunch. We arrived 30 minutes before happy hour ended around 5:30 p.m. so we had some time to get two rounds of drinks while waiting for our food. We had the coconut rice cakes and spring rolls as well as troubles, spaghetti and the curry. Every single thing we had was absolutely delectable and would urge you to check this place out.
I’m not a vegetarian but I really enjoyed this spot. Great quality food, nice ambience, good decor, packed on a Tuesday, reasonably priced.Bit sad they don’t have the wings offered at the other location. Think staff were a bit overwhelmed during our visit and service was hit and miss - waiting for a table and placing orders were quite slow, but our order came out very quickly.Would recommend, will return.
Amazing experience here. The food was exceptional and totally surpassed our expectations, so creative (we ordered the monsoon roll, the sticky black garlic eggplant and the tomato tofu). Drinks were also top notch and the service all throughout the night was great! Would recommend everyone to give this place a try.
Amazing vegetarian and vegan options.Had our first ever plant based prawn here it was amazing. Service was a bit slow seems like they prioritize their take out orders. As my wife is Vegan we will be back for sure.
A friend strongly recommended the coconut cakes and they absolutely lived up to their reputation! Crispy on the outside and melty on the inside with fantastic coconut flavour. The daikon cakes on a fried egg bed were also absolutely delicious, which just made the rest of the meal all the more disappointing...The monsoon roll was completely bland and while the stacked pyramid was a very artistic presentation, by the time we got through the top few they were all entirely glued into a messy block that was impossible to separate without making a big mess. Most of the mains we ordered were fine if rather forgettable, although the white truffle Saigon spaghetti was extra disappointing for being completely lacking in any sort of truffle flavour.Would recommend sticking to the smaller share plates, because the coco cake and daikon cakes were really quite stellar!
The decor It's very pretty inside. The menu is different than the one on Kingsway. The food is just okay, for some reason I like the food on Kingsway more. I did enjoy my vegan vermicelli.
Amazing! Had the spring rolls, Wings, Curry and sweet and spicy bowl. Everything was delicious. I am NOT a vegetarian and so I reluctantly agreed to go. I left stuffed and completely satisfied. I would rather eat the mushroom bed wings they serve than chicken wings and I love chicken wings! Definitely going back.
