ordered chicken biryani, bbq platter, beef curry, roghni naan, all good food, will definitely recommend, 5 stars all the way
The food here used to be good in the past, but it seems like the quality has gone down over time :/The rice was old and just plain spicy with no depth of flavours. Most of the food was so spiced up to the point that it gave you heart burn. Also, super pricey for the average portions they give. Would not recommend.
I received the food with the main dish missing. i called the driver, who said was the restaurant faul, i called the restaurant and they said the driver forgot it, meanwhile i paid $60 do not get my food delivered and finding myself walking 20 streets back and forth to get my food. Nothing was been offered or done to smooth my frustration and disappointment. I see people just want to put their money in the pockets right away without thinking long term. now they got my money but for the future they lost a customer and all the people that i know.
The food is really good and authentic spicy lamb and goat karahai. The quantity is little less. Though they compensate with the quality and freshly cooked steaming curry
I tried contacting the restaurant for almost 2 days no response, they don’t pick up the phone calls, they don’t respond to messages, I had to drive 40 minutes to check what I’m asking for Worst customer service experience
Food was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Food portion was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Halal Food. Highly Recommended.
First time to had a Pakistan food .BBQ bit burn but still so good flavor in meat.Flaming flavor by lots of spices !I'll definitely back again.
Food portion is too small. No authentic taste especially Chicken Karahi is nowhere near to real Karahi and it was recommended by staff. Really surprised to see the rating vs reality.Not recommended for people with good taste buds.
I’ve tried desi food in most all of the Indian and Pakistani restaurants of Greater Vancouver but haven’t eaten Dewan-e-khas like tasty food elsewhere. It’s addictive and once you try it it’s hard to back off! Their mouth-watering special dum biryani, available on every Friday, is one of my favourites. Every menu item is made with careful selection of khas special ingredients. I love all the dishes their equally and would recommend everyone to visit.
Third visit and as like last 2 times it’s a great place for Goat Meat, Chicken and Biryani. Very polite servers. Simple & cozy place for dinning. Food was really good - breads were freshly ‘Tandoored’… owner is very warm and courteous. Especially comes to table to greet and check how guest is feeling. A big thumbs-up
