Happy hour M-F 3-6. Great food and drink deals. $4 sliders. $9 Mac and cheese was a good portion and has some spice to it. $6 beers.
The lunch deals are great and very filling. I had beef brisket with corn bread and kohlslaw and a couple beers. Everything was excellent and the service was good. The interior is well designed and decorated.
First visit to this restaurant. Service was very good and food was amazing. Very good BBQ style food, and large selection of craft beers. They accidentally gave us the wrong side dish for our shared main(BBQ platter for 2). We told them it was totally fine, but they insisted on giving us the side we asked for, which was appreciated. Will absolutely be going there again next time we’re in the area.
I guess it was a mistake to come here and not get something BBQ, but i came for dinner and ordered the devil's burger w cornbread. I didn't think it was a very good burger, and I think I just didn't like the flavors of the burger, like how the meat was seasoned and the sauce. Personal preference & hard to explain. I didn't like the cornbread, it was more sticky than cakey or bready, and I didn't like the seasoning in that either.
Never seen or heard of this place before even though I live nearby, my boyfriend and I decided to check it out for dinner one evening. It definitely had an interesting southern vibe, which we loved as you don't get a lot of that around Vancouver. The food was exceptional. I would recommend the wings to anybody who visits, they had a unique smokey taste which was amazing. The brisket sandwich was huge, tasty and very filling.however, the Mac and cheese could use some more flavor.Overall, I enjoyed the place and would Definitely consider visiting again.
Good variety of drinks and food is good fair price
The food here is delicious! Bbq was on spot. The pulled pork and beef brisket had a great, smokey flavour and was seasoned very well. We got the Mac and cheese and tater tot nachos and they were amazing as well. Very cheesy and tons of good flavour. Service was good and they had plastic barriers and all staff wearing masks.
The menu was so tempting we ended up ordering platter for 2. It was awesome but can surely be shared by 3 people or even 4 if you’re just snacking. Great staff, chill ambience. Will surely go back more. The beer suggestion was great and just to my taste so go on an adventure!
Great experience and wonderful, friendly service.Drinks: get the BBB which gets you a 16oz beer, 1oz bourbon and 3 strips smoked bacon lol.Had the 4 person platter and it was more than enough food for 2 couples. Brisket was more of a pulled brisket but not bad. Sausage links were good, pulled pork also not bad. Ribs had a nice smokey flavor. Wings were good.Favorite part of the meal for me was the gumbo. I've had gumbo in New Orleans and while the gumbo here may not have been as authentic, it was still delicious. Would get as an additional side or even as a meal on its own.
