cute little coffee spot with limited food items just to pair with your coffee fix. Prices reasonable. Espresso blend is fragrant but lighter in profile. Latte was very milky, so couldnt really get the notes from the espresso as much, but milk was smooth and well tempered. Also good light pour over.Avocado toast was nice. Sourdough used as very soft, yuzu bits made the dish refreshing. Paired nicely with coffee.

I absolutely love the toasts they do here. so what if I'll never be able to afford a detached home, with these toasts I DON'T WANT ONE!also one of the most interesting rosters in Vancouver, they are putting out some truly excellent and unique beans. if you like weird and wonderful coffee beans, and you're a nerd like I am, come here and get some.
Amazing coffee and great food. Staff is super friendly and the service is a 10+ One of my favorite places to go.. Love this place !! Highly recommend :o)
It was my first time here & it’s now one of my favourite coffee shops in Vancouver. ? it’s not a huge place, but if you can, grab a seat and enjoy it. Their coffee is next level & the food is delicious too. Highly recommend.
I visited them for breakfast today, i got a latte and it was okay it wasn’t bad but i also got a butter croissant and let me tell you it was really dry, my gf didn’t want it so we threw it away. Not bad coffee but unfortunately i won’t be coming back.

delicious toast and cake! The tomato sauce was magical on it! Perfect coffee art! And they also have espresso choices~ Will definitely come back for another brunch!
Of course I haven’t tried all the coffee shops in Vancouver, but I was planning on checking one different everyday… well, I came twice at Modus! Amazing coffee, delicious pastries, cozy and small, fair price…
I love everything about this coffeeshop: its decor, ambience, background music, friendly and efficient service, and most importantly really yummy coffee and food. Their SEASONAL FRENCH TOAST is to die-for.
