The cashier was so polite and friendly made my experience a remarkable one. Not to mention I enjoyed every bit of the food the jalapeño bombers were amazing and the cashier was correct they are spicy but in a good way the Biscuit were so delicious and the chicken was fried just right. I will return to see if I can get the name of the cashier he was amazing.
The chicken is cold and on top of shelf for a long time. Spicy chicken is blended and oil need to change. The chicken color is super dark. Not recommend this location.
When I’m craving some deep fried chicken I’ll come here late at night. Friendly staff here and good chicken. I find that this location has a good and fresher variety.I would recommend buying all thighs, it’s worth the extra money and for the most part they are moist and taste fresh.Good staff here and friendly. Good service.4/5
Went there today to get take out. After I ordered, I noticed a tray of raw chicken sitting on cart in front of the windows, not covered or chilled. The sun was shining in on them. Then the person who took my order placed my fries on the counter next to my drinks where they sat going cold for over 3 minutes. I was given fresh ones after I said something. When I got home, the drinks tasted like pure soda water. Don’t waste your money. Not unless you want to get food poisoning.
Honestly, my first time actually ordering anything from church's chicken and I was not too impressed. Not that it was horrible, but I just didn't enjoy my wrap combo - the Tex Mex crispy chicken.Likely will not be eating here again. .unless I am very intoxicated and on a late night munchie run with this place being the ONLY option. But nah I would rather just starve to be honest lmao
Chicken was delicious crispy and piping hot. But, it took 20 mins to wait for chicken and the dining room was filthy. The place desperately needs a reno. Definitely a drive-through, not a dine-in.
Well ,I hadn't stopped in here in about a year. Truthfully, I really never enjoyed the service and always thought the product was may be mediocre. But today I dropped in ..and what a difference.!The place was busy. Manager and the staff made sure to acknowledge me and know that they were going to take my order any momentWhen they did, they were very professional and they were very efficient in processing it along with everyone else's.As for the chicken itself, I have never had chicken like this from ChurchesThey were not some small little pieces you typically get even at KFC, It was well-cooked product that was spot onGreat job guys. Please don't go back to whatever you were doing before.
I went for chicken last night and they served me old dry chicken. The Jalapeno bombers were fresh, fries were good but the chicken was a huge disappointment. I went it to talk with the manager tonight and he could care less. I asked which chicken was fresh tonight and they said the spicy was just made. I said well okay I will buy a 3 piece combo with fries, drink and 10 bombers. Then at the end they tried to tack on the price of the paper bag. I can't believe this.... This is not a grocery store. Why charge me for the bag. I canceled the order and left the building. I wont be going back. In case people haven't noticed there are dozens of new fried chicken places opened all of this area of Vancouver. They aren't 24 hours but many are open late and 10 times better than Churches Chicken. I have been a long time customer to this location but you have now lost me as a customer. My wife and I have been coming here to buy our new years feast for many years and will no longer do it.I have worked in many kitchens and I never accept serving old food, even if the owner/manager tells me to. I just wont lower my standards.P.S. There is a chicken place at Keefer and Main that is absolutely to die for. Do yourself a favor and check out a real chicken place that doesn't try to charge you for a bag, omg...!I just did a search for large size bulk paper bags and they cost less than a penny each when you buy 1000 or more. 1000 bags is not a large order. They are trying to make money on a bag that costs less than a penny.
Churches chicken is always good, especially on the run. Staff is friendly and efficient.
Just can't beat fresh cooked tasty chicken with friendly service.
