Tried it here for the first time. We had a family member visiting from the US and she was feeling Korean BBQ so we all decided to go here. We had to wait in line but it didn’t take long compared to other KBBQ places. The restaurant vibe was lively. It looks well maintained. The staff were friendly, although at times forgets to follow up if guests needed things like water, extra napkins etc. We ordered a party tray. It had a good amount of serving. There were 6 of us and the party tray is good for 7 people but still we had so much left over food. The grill is a bit small for the table. It took longer amount of time to feed the 6 of us but it was alright. The meats were mostly good, some tasted bland, some tasted so good.I would still come back for sure. Overall it was a nice first time experience.
Everyone knows that even it’s takeout or delivery order, Korean restaurant always give small side dish for free(I.e. kimchi & potato). But sadly I got nothing, all other Korean restaurants will give kimchi for sure.Second, there should be a dip sauce for my kimchi pancake, again, this restaurant forgot to put it in (This place have the sauce for the pancake when I eat there)Lastly and the worst part. Check the picture. The packaging was awful, the sauce in the dish broke the bag and when I grab my order it’s spilled out everywhere. All other Korean food delivery order I got they have one thing in common, it’s they will warp the soup with the plastic wrap, so the soup won’t spilled. If your restaurant is too BUSY you can just skip the delivery service?anyway, I will never go there again. Just friendly reminder For anyone who want to do a take out or delivery order, be careful with your food. It might spills out on your car or your carpet.
I went with a friend for lunch, the combination lunch was a pretty good deal. But I found the meat portion a bit skimpy. Their side dishes were quite tasty. The young serving staff could have been more attentive and friendlier. It took awhile to get their attention to take our order (they didn't have a bell at our table like at other restaurants), and they didn't check back at the table at all to see if we needed anything. I would go back, and I would recommend them though.
Always a great time here. Their food is always good and service is friendly. The combos are great value when dining with 3+ people. The music playing always sets a vibe. Be aware that your clothes will smell like the BBQ grill after.
This place gets packed on the weekends, definitely recommend a reservation. The air filtration doesn’t appear to be as good as other kbbq places because it was very smoky inside and my friends all felt the same way.We ordered BBQ party combo B which came with AAA Premium Marinated Beef Rib, LA Beef Short Rib, Juicy Beef Rib, Herb Garlic Rib Finger, Juicy Pork Galbi, Chicken Bulgogi, Pork Belly, House Special Salad, Seafood Tofu Hotpot, Side dishes, Bowls of rice and Lettuce set. It was a lot of food for 6 people who love to eat. We also added in a seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and japchae. Lettuce refills and appetizer refills was an extra charge after one complementary refill. The appetizer were all very good. Also all of the meat and soup was very tasty we ate everything up, no complaints good quality meat, tasty bold Korean flavors!
Foods are very good and tasty.
Had dinner here for a friend's birthday. Food was exceptional, especially the meat platter. The meat was well marinated and it tasted delicious. Tried their jajangmyeon for the first time and I surprisingly liked it. Highly recommend coming here.
Korean BBQ Combo B was decent, but everything was so chewy. Fish roe spicy soup, roe was over cooked, hard and super dry. They do give a good amount of the fish roe though. Soup was not spicy and flavour was edible, okay, not the best and not the worst. The restaurant was busy, so you just get minimal interaction with the staff and wait was not so bad. Can't say they were friendly, but they were not rude, just needed to rush to get their jobs done.
wonderful atmosphere....very careful checking COVID-19 vaccine cards..food was presented great....very friendly.....now for the problem...I hate to say that the food tasted awful... all of the main dishes tasted weird....and I just couldn't say anything to the over-the-top friendly manager.... I can't imagine what was wrong with the food... I enjoyed the rice and that is about all that I ate.....
Hi, I recently went to this place and was really excited since I heard a lot of good things about it. Upon entering the restaurant, a waiter led me to my table. There was a grey creature already sitting on one side of the table so I thought maybe the waiter made a mistake and forgot that the seat was already reserved (while also wondering what the creature even was), but when I asked another waiter walking around in the restaurant, they assured me that it was in fact my table and insisted that I take a seat. I sat down in the seat across from the creature and felt quite uncomfortable when the creature immediately locked its eyes on me. I tried to ask what was going on and if I could kindly request it to look away but I didn't receive any response. At this point, I was thinking to myself, "this is the worst experience ever, I'll quickly finish this meal and leave a one-star review to let people know to be careful", but the more I studied the creature the more its eyes looked less menacing; I don't know how to describe it, but those big round tapioca pearls almost looked mesmerizing. Instead of telling it to go away, I tried to ask it how it was. Apparently the creature didn't speak English, but it responded with a deep and steady noise while slowly bobbing its head up and down. I guess if I had to put the noise into words, it kind of sounded like "zodon". Zdon? Zdun? Zhdun? Anyway, it seemed like it at least understood what I said, so I tried asking him some questions like whether he liked the food there, how long it had been sitting there for, or what its name was. Unsurprisingly, besides the head nodding, it responded to all the questions the exact same way — "Zhdun, zhdun, zhdun." I thought it was quite amusing, and since I didn't want to call it "hey" anymore, I decided to name it "Zhdun". About 10 minutes after I ordered, the food arrived and the waiters seemed to be used to Zhdun's presence as they completely ignored it. With several bowls and plates of food in front of me, I felt that I couldn't just eat it all by myself and make Zhdun watch, so I offered it some. Like the good calm creature he was, he slowly opened his mouth and seemed to really enjoy the food. Can't blame him, the food was pretty good. As I fed Zhdun more food, I could feel that he was regaining some sort of energy; our conversations got livelier and I was actually beginning to have fun talking to him. After we finished the food, I stood up to pay the bills, but Zhdun remained in his seat with not a bit of intention to move. Fair enough, he was there to begin with. Though, it still felt like I was abandoning a good friend I've just made. I said goodbye to him, he waved at me and muttered "zhdun" one last time before taking his eyes off me and returning to the way he was when I arrived. I can't say I was expecting this experience at all, but it was certainly the most fun I've ever had in a restaurant. If you run into this creature at Cho Sun, please do not be afraid as it is very friendly.
