I had the opportunity to try a pizza from Cavo last night and was pretty blown away. It's a nice middle-ground between thin Neapolitan-style pizza and the greek-style pizza you'd find at a pizza+ribs+chicken kind of place.I will definitely be back to try other things with friends.

Nice decor, seems nice from the outside. Hostess was friendly and efficiently. Had pizza, whiskey sour and a glass of rose - 47.45 then a machine that insists on a tip. So it was over 55. Very poor for the price. Pizza base was burnt. Rosé was one of the worst I've had in an age, 10 for a small glass! .The music was obnoxiously loud. Not a comfortable experience.

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. Like 1/2 hr for a drink and and hour for food on a Thursday terrible. Location is good. And they don’t care about animal/pets or Covid rules if that’s your thing.
Place seems cool and had good music unfortunately the man wearing a orange polo that was working there around 10:30pm on April 1st said there was no spots. I watched as he let in two people right after me. Fail
Went on Tuesday where we got the pizza discount which was good but the pizza itself was super heavy. Still pretty tasty none the less. However the service was an absolute mess. The server forgot my pizza so while my entire table got their food, I had to wait an extra 20-30 minutes for mine. She did give me an extra $6 off the pizza so that was nice of them. The waiter also kept leaving anytime we tried to talk to her for more drinks. Nice ambiance and decent place for drinks, but I don't plan on going back.
Ordered the fish and chips, the fish was perfect but unfortunately the fries are not fresh hand cut as per the menu, they are frozen fries. Also we arrived at 5:45 pm and thought what a nice place to come and enjoy a meal but at 6 i guess turns into a club atmosphere with music so loud you can’t have a conversation anymore with out yelling.
Visited Vancouver for the first time and stayed in Downtown, checked out Cavo for brunch and it was really good, I had ordered The Local and I really enjoyed it. I ended going back again the next day lol. Stephy was our waitress and she was awesome!
