My review may be a bit unfair. I was here with some friends at St Patrick's day. The drinks kept coming for our group and we downed them well. The restaurant started to get busy but our server kept up serving us. It was early in the night. Then the party of 50 people scheduled to arrive got there and overwhelmed our server as well as the kitchen.Our food was disappointing. We were hungry because of the drinks but the food left us feeling blah. Some of you reading this know what I mean when food is eaten just because it is in front of you. My friends had the tacos and they were disappointed with the taste. I opted for the burrito bowl which was no better. The rice was a bit hard. It tasted uncooked and so did the beans. But we filled our bellies with Guinness which is a meal on itself and green beer.Staff was great and responsive even when the large group of 50 almost double in size. The noise was too much and we had to leave. Maybe we will try Castaway again when it is less festive for a better review.

Great food, reasonably priced beer and stand-up comedy on Tuesdays. Not much to dislike about this place. Also, the bathrooms are surprisingly posh. Will definitely be back.
Absolute gem of a neighbourhood pub that punches way above its weight in terms of the quality of everything they offer. A special shoutout goes to the calamari, the electric lime wings, and the chili margarita.

The staff there are always nice and friendly. Management does a good job in the hiring process I guess. Food is always on point and the drinks are diverse. Never had a bad experience over the years.

We watched the Bokke vs BI Lions at Castaway and had a great time! Dara was on point and made sure our cups were full! Highly recommended for any sporting event! (Or any occasion)
