The food is amazing. I have ordered several times and always received an exceptional tasting quality meal. The restaurant itself is a much better experience. I highly recommend.
This is my favourite place to get brunch! I usually get “The Mess,” which is always delicious. The pancakes are also fantastic, and have nice and slightly crispy edges. The bananas in the banana pancakes are always perfectly caramelized. The espresso beverages aren’t in the same league as the food, but they’re still decent. The staff is always friendly as well!

How did I never come here before, as I've lived around the corner for many years. We usually go to all the east van breakie places with lineups, but no longer. The food here is so fresh and cooked perfectly, and they surprisingly have lots veggie and vegan options.I had a tofu scramble. They use firm tofu (yes!) and the veggies are fresh and cut perfectly. The hash brown potatoes are delicious and they use a paprika or something to make them extra tasty. The toast was gluten free and vegan butter to compliment the scramble. So good and looked so pretty on the plate.My son had blueberry and banana pancakes and they were fluffy and all the fruit plentiful. Generous portion of Real maple syrup to go with them. He also had the freshest fruits smoothie I've seen in a while.The staff was also lovely and friendly, and didn't try to rush you out the door like some other well known breakfast places in the hood. Little gem.
Decent breakfast at a decent price. The atmosphere was a bit confusing : elevator music and news on the tvs. Fine place to food but not a social place.Not to be mistaken with "Cafe Deux Soilel" which is further down the Drive and has a stage for shows, is Vegetarian, and more of a chill vibe
Waiters are always polite, service is excellent and food is well presented and delicious!
Unfortunately didn't love this breakfast experience. The hashbrowns looked like they would taste so delicious, and I normally love hollandaise sauce. But, both were incredibly bland. Thankfully there was salt and hot sauce provided. Not sure if the mimosa had real orange juice in it, or maybe it was just a little? Loved the bacon though!
Good portions for what you pay for. And to top that off I saw two people came in asking if they could spare a tea or a coffee and the owner totally did!! I super appreciate kind business owners! The food was delicious. The coffee could be better but hey it was satisfying! Thank you for the meal!
The entire experience was so good. Quick and friendly service, with great food. I had no idea what I wanted, so I choose a little bit of everything with "The Mess". Paired it with freshly-squeezed-infront-of-me orange juice.The picture attached does not give it justice.Will have to come back.
