This is a great Japanese fusion restaurant, the price is good for the generous portions and their Masago de Creamy Spaghetti is addicting. I would definitely go here again!

My wife and I were coming home from Pender Island week stay and googled some restaurants and found this hidden gem. I had the curry with the Chicken cutlet, rice and salad. Yummy, tasty and delicious. My wife had the Chicken Nanban and found it to be also tasty and good. We had the Love bkend of decalf teas to drink. We ordered 2 desserts for takeout the Mango cheesecake and the Strawberry parfait. We enjoyed them at home Hit the spot.

1st time visit. I heard a lot of good reviews about this place. The place is small but welcoming. Friendly staff with family style Japanese fusion foods. All good for what I ordered except a small bite size portion of the hamburger meat is exceptionally hard. To me it feels that they pre-cooked them and throw into the microwave to heat them up before serving. Mine was left in the microwave a little bit too long. I could be wrong. The curry sauce is not the typical sweet Japanese curry but taste like their special house blend, which is nice.

I like that we have an option for Japanese style pasta in town. The place is sort of small. I feel like the owner tried to squeezed as many tables as possible. I don't blame him. Covid has been hard for everyone. So don't expect to have much privacy between tables. The poutine with curry sauce was amazing. Really delicious. Curry flavour was right on point.I ordered the carbonara pasta with burger. I give the dish 3.5 out of 5. The presentation was very nice and the pasta as well. However, I don't feel the sauce had much carbonara flavour. The burger on the side was delicious.I've been there before and the food is overall good. I do recommend this place.

Love this place! Some of the friendliest restaurant servers I've ever met here. And food is quite good too, for decent prices. I had the Masago with Hamburger.

Just went there this weekend. Affordable price and the food was pretty good. I got the Masago spaghetti, my friend got the Cheese baked shrimp dori. Then we got a chocolate banana pie to share. My spaghetti was delicious with the Japanese hamburger on top. The chocolate pie was a bit disappointing but the rest of the meal was great. One big downside they gotta fox is the heating. I was freezing in there! Jack up the heat guys!

This is a quaint, neighbourhood Japanese restaurant that has been here forever. It is a bit out of the way but there is lots of free parking available. We had the Hayashi special which had a hamburger steak and 2 pieces of breaded prawns (not tempura) and the oroshi ponzu hamburger steak. The sauce on the Hayashi special is a beef stew and is nice and flavourful. We also had the grapefruit cheesecake which is a Japanese style and also light and delicious.Would return to try more next time.

Delicious Japanese pasta paired with the best matcha latte in town — #1 reason to come here ??❤️ There’s a reason why this place is busy.

Busy on weekends but the food portions are very generous and big. Almost couldn't finish and had to take home the ice-cream parfait in a container. Staff is very friends and will keep checking in on us to see if we are doing okay. We also had the ume shu and they gave nice tiny cups, stayed chill and delicious

Taste is absolutely at the top. Portion is generous. But tonight there are some fingerprints all around my dish. I hope the owner sees this post and address this minor issue and 5 stars for me after that!
