Really enjoyed it. Fortunately we had a reservation as it was very busy (and we still had a short wait despite the reservation). Food was very good and reasonably priced for the quality and the location. Would definitely go back. Staying on Robson, it was within walking distance and ideal for a post meal amble back and people watch en-route. Had a pasta dish which was better than ok. Tuna poke bowl was very good and truffle fries were too. Some decent cocktails as well.
Slick operation this. Part of a chain apparently, but dont let that put you off. A bevy of hosts and waiting staff and I counted 32 in the kitchen! Right next to Canada Place and the Olympic cauldron. I enjoyed a salad ( pretty rare in itself) and my wife had thai green curry. Diverse range of diners makes for good people watching. Service on point.
This restaurant is located right on the water with a great view of Stanley Park. I I I would highly recommend reservations because of the popularity of this place. We had a window set which was an awesome way to watch the sun go down. We were on a pre set menu which started with a glass of champagne and only got better from there. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I had the salmon which was cooked and seasoned just right. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert they had chocolate peanut butter crunch bar. It was so unbelievable.
Was worried that it would be one of those places with a great view that end up being overpriced and underwhelming but it was great! Had the kale and avocado salad with chicken which was really tasty and a few glasses of Froze (frozen rose) which were amazing and happy hour 2-5! The place had a great vibe / view and will definitely visit again!
Very large restaurant on Coal harbour with views from most seats. We opted for inside as temperatures were high. Despite being busy service was organised and attentive. Both of us had steak - perfectly medium rare ! Desserts were nice but on the larger side ….
If you are looking for the best dining experience and the best sunset views across the Vancouver harbour while seeing the planes come and go then this is the place you need to come visit. The food quality is phenomenal and the staff is nice, quick, friendly and accommodating. It is a very busy place, I would recommend a reservation rather than standing in the line outside. We had a reservation for 9:15 pm and for some we had to change it to an earlier time and the staff was able to help us very quickly.Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan food.Washrooms (downstairs) were clean.I will definitely recommend them.
Great food, great environment. The host was amazing and the server was so friendly. Had a great time!
Great place to dine. Lovely situated, large restaurant, views of the harbor, depending on where you are seated, but even when you do not have the view, the food is excellent. All the dishes look good and tasted good. Great service as well. Not cheap, but is there anything cheap in Vancouver? Great vibe created by the music that is played, older dance songs. What could be improved is the experience before you are seated. Had a chaotic feel.
Spoil my birthday . I have been to cactus club so many times but to my surprise last night ie 08/03/2022 was worse of them all . My husband made a reservation for the table near the water view in advance so that My birthday could be celebrated and when we get there they didn’t give us the table Near the view and i agree sometimes it gets busy and you don’t get the seat . But then what we saw the people that came after us was getting all the seating beside the ocean view . We were made to sit in a walk way table where everyone was coming in and out . When we complained to the manger , guess what that rude manager said ? She said we can’t please anyone . I mean seriously? So my husband asked her whom are you pleasing if you can’t cater the needs of customer . She was so arrogant and we were so disappointed. This review might not matter but it did spoil my birthday .
Wonderful location overlooking the bay and striking interior make this a standout destination. Although the food was good the visit was overshadowed by a cockup which led to the wrong meal being served to one of our party who then had to eat his meal after us. We also had to wait over an hour to get in. I really don’t get the Canadian system at restaurants. Either fill the place in advance with reservations, then guests know where they are, or have 100% walk ins. At the moment the system is half pregnant.
