The atmosphere and cottage-like coziness is why I always come back. As they say, they definitely have comfort food, no arguing with that.I do believe prices are slightly high as it is comfort food the end of the day, and the portions are not anything crazy. If you haven't been I do recommend - I recommend even if you have.I will be back!Their Mac and cheese is very popular, I was not personally amazed by it, but it was good!
this place was recommended to me by a friend. as soon as i saw it i thought it was so cute!! the inside too, it’s very cozy. the service was very friendly and efficient and the FOOD. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. i had the beef bourguignon and it was the best dish i’ve had in a while. the chicken pot pie that my bf had was also great. good portion for decent price. highly recommend!!
Great experience, ate at the bar with my gf loved the chicken sandwich and chicken pot pie... had 2 lagers with it. Great time
The main reason to go here is for the cozy atmosphere which is excellent. Comfy wood, music at a nice volume to allow for conversations, very nice wooden bar if you're coming alone, good interesting beer and wine list (all local), good service, nice comfort food menu with some vegetarian and vegan options. My soup and sandwich combo ($19) was good but a bit pricy I think considering the serving size. The grilled cheese and mushroom soup were both good but nothing special.
Loved the food and service but I did not appreciate a minimum 18% tip option. I mean, I can pick custom tip but the way you force people to leave at least 18% tip is wrong. I don't think I ever come back to your restaurant.
The CRAB BISQUE was delicious and the service was amazing. A bit crowded so the waiting time was a bit long but it was fine.
LOVE this place! Food is consistently great and so comforting!
Nothing break my heart more than this moment in my life as I watch my acquaintance eat what looks to be a spectacular winter meal of a sandwich and soup while I sitting looking at an empty bowl wishing that I had not partaking in the Mac and cheese which left more than enough to be desired. It is a terrible feeling knowing I could get off my feet and go back in the kitchen and beat the chef in a bobby flay style Mac and cheese cook off! Just know this review goes out to nothing other than the Mac and cheese. Great service and beautiful environment but just make sure to steer clear of the lack luster Mac and cheese.
The soup and sandwiches are mostly delicious, although the place reminds me of lost love!
I usually dine at Burgoo on Main Street as I prefer the ambience there. Decided to try the West 10th location today as closer to home. I ordered my regular, the Beef Bourguignon, and I was very disappointed. Some of the beef was grizzly, the dish was not thoroughly hot, and most importantly, the beef was tough, definitely not melt in your mouth like it is at the Main Street location...and I have had it there on several occasions.I did enjoy the ambience on West 10th, it was nice and quiet, and our Server was lovely. I didn't bother to say anything because it would have made the elderly person I was with very uncomfortable. Not sure if I will return to this location, and if I do, I will definitely not be ordering my regular menu item.
