This is one of our favourite restaurants that we frequent quite regularly. Unfortunately our meal last night wasn't the best. Soup was way too hot, chicken sandwich was bland and mashed potatoes were overdone. They usually have great pizza options for kids but the only kids items were a very cheesy macaroni and cheese or grilled cheese. My kids barely ate much. Even the grilled cheese was a little overdone. Service was ok. Not sure if we will return to the location on Main Street.
We came in because the selections on menu look attractive. We ordered:1) onion soup2) crab soup3) cuban sandwichWe were so happy with the onion soup because of the amount of cheese loaded. However, the soup itself is too salty and lack depth. Same for the crab soup and cuban sandwich. Very average...
The food was okay though nothing spectacular. The portions are quite small for the price. I feel deceived by a name like Burgoo as I was expecting at least one burger on the menu. I was really craving yam fries, alas there were no fry-like items, and a lack of carbs in general. If that's your jam, then I recommend, but I wouldn't choose to go back. Comfort food to me is not what was on the menu. The servers and atmosphere were nice though.
Great place for dinner in the neighborhood.We went for dinner, no reservations but got in within a few minutes. We were lucky to get a seat outside (under cover and heated).Order the Brie fondue, so so good! The drinks were good, but the mulled cider left something to be desired.We order the beef bourguignon and the seasonal soup/quinoa salad. The beef bourguignon was delicious, but the mashed potatoes needed to be added Al La carte. I think it should be included with the beef.The squash soup was tasty and hot.All in all a great spot. Will go back.
Tried the food. My fiancé got the grilled cheese and I got the cubano. Her grilled cheese was probably one of the best grilled cheese I have ever had. Service was great and the patio was pretty good. Food came fast and the service was decent. Restaurant and facilities was very clean. One of my fav go to restaurants in the area.
Smaller place then I expected but it was really cozy and warm. We got a seat right away even though it seemed fairly busy. Had the chicken pot pie and it was really good and savory. Would definitely order it again. Everything on the comfort food section on the main menu was going to be filling and heavy so we just had some chips and dip for our appie. We finished off with some dessert.

My husband and some friends came here for the first time on Dec 4th. It was so good! The pierogi appy was to die for. I had the mushroom soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Absolutely delicious. My husband had the French onion soup, said it was the best he ever had. My friends ordered the mac and cheese and beef bourguignon. Both so good! I would definitely recommend this place for the good food and great service.
