They have photos on the wall and the product they actually offer is not what you’re ordering, apparently. If you’re going to give people plain white rice instead of chicken rice, then this should be explained prior to an order going through. Won’t be back.
Worst franchise location ever. Choose another option here. Flavor of the chicken peppery soup tasted like 100% chicken bouillon powder compared to other locations. Looks sad lacks veggies and other stuff on top compared to other locations I chose the beef ball sliced beef. Compared to other locations this is very subpar
This place used to be good (couple years ago). Recently I went back again & quality is not the same anymore. The Hainanese chicken laksa was terrible. The soup and noodles were OK, but the chicken!! They were bits and pieces of chicken meat containing soft cartilage / small bones. I had to spit out something almost every bite. I feel like these are leftover chunks from making Hainanese chicken rice. I've had this laksa from other Bubble Waffle Cafes, they use whole piece of boneless chicken meat neatly cut into 5-6 pieces. Google "bubble waffle laksa" photos, you will see what it should look like.
Hainanese chicken was full fat, literally no chicken on a bed of stale rice. Bubble waffle was cold and hard, when asked to get a fresh one. He went on to say that it takes 15 mins to turn on and he would not.It is NOT the same as the popular one in Richmond. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely horrible customer service and food. The owner does not realize that terrible food means no repeat customers.
It was my first time, looks good and tasty in the photo but worse when i ordered. The chicken was not even heated, as cold as a dead meat, obviously it was pre-cooked and left it in the fridge, but at least they must have exerted efforts to RE-HEAT it. But i was still glad i got 2 pieces of small cut of broccoli (sorry for my sarcasm), all these for $11.
Had the Hainanese chicken rice which came with cold milk tea and I also added the bubble waffle for $1.5. Was a great value meal. Everything was tasty!

Truly disgusting! A waffle with the flavour of a curly hair!That hair was tangled into the waffle that I can't even pull it out.Of course I only noticed this right after I swallowed 1/3 of the waffle, and I had to puke them out and threw it away.Disgusting!
I liked it, quite a huge portion for sure. Couldn't eat anything else for the whole day.
Always a risk of getting stomachache as the food is not that fresh. There isn’t much “cooking” to be done but more like boiling the meat and veggie in hot water. Add a broth after and there you go.It’s cheap lunch so what do you expect
