Super busy/popular cafe but for good reason. They're open 24/7 and allow studying and working on the top floor which is great for students. They have an amazing oat latte and would also recommend their pistachio doughnut and ham and cheese cretzel as well.Definitely recommend, but don't go during peak hours unless you're okay with waiting a little bit.

Breka is my favourite place to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy it with my family and friends. I usually order one of the hot beverages alongside a sweet treat, this time I decided to go with a savoury bite as I was hungry. I enjoyed every bite of my steak panini, it was heavenly! Breka has raised my expectations for food too!Aren't you guys planning to open a branch here in Burnaby? Preferably next to my door?! ;)

I dont usually write reviews, but this is unacceptable. I would strongly advise you guys to be more careful when making them. Luckily, I chew slowly so I realized immediately that there was something wrong in the cream. Very dangerous, could have stabbed my gum and made me bleed, or much worse. Other than the piece of metal, the two cream puffs and eclair are delicious!

Cool bakery, clean, organized and friendly service. croissant and cappuccino wereamazing

Breka on 4th is a great coffee and bakery spot.Consistently excellent service.Love their oak milk lattes and white chocolate raspberry scone. But you can't go wrong with any if the bakery items. Coconut balls a must try. So Good!!

I have always enjoyed the food and the service at Breka. I probably went to all of its locations and had a good experience until tonight.I went there tonight, ordered a donut and a drink, paid the transaction, my order was “to go” , there was probably a miscommunication on that which I don’t blame anyone, until the personnel told me that if my order is “ to go” , I had to pay 25 cents for the cup of my drink. I didn’t get it at first so I didn’t say a word because I thought my transaction was finished but I was still by the cashier then another guy came and told me that I should go back in the line and pay for the 25 cents.Well I did that, without saying a word I just went back in the line, waiting to pay for my “precious” 25 cent to go cup and thinking that why I tipped this kind of service and now I am back in the line to pay for 25 cents which is about 1/8 of the tip I have paid seconds ago. Well the thing is I always tip, it is a gratitude, it is for embracing people’s efforts, the amount can be big or small depending on the budget, but the most important part is the willingness to show appreciation.Anyway I waited patiently in the line and paid for 25 cents, this time a different person at the cashier was trying to make it up to me saying some government rules etc but my lesson learned from today is never have a “to go cup” and I don’t need to tip this place ever again because for them 25 cents is much than 2 CAD.

A Bakery I Can't Live Without. My visit was on a quiet Wednesday morning. Until then, I'd passed this vintage building many times. but I was alway in a hurry or on a bus. Besides, I was quite frugal on my snack budget. 6 dollar for a single treat was kinda in the grey area. Finally, it was the day after my first midterm. I decided to reward myself with a visit to Breka. Astonished by the wide array of pastries and desserts, I made up my mind to try the Earl Grey puff. The top of puff was coated by earl grey flavor chocolate and stuffed with earl grey custard. With every bite, the rich taste and fragrance of earl grey would fill my mouth and lingered until the next bite arrives. It's a brilliant idea to add tea into cream as it subtly fuses with the overall sweetness and bring a surprising, pleasant flavor. The first visit marked the start of my ongoing obsession with Breka. I am resolute to try out every single items they offer, from small to large, from sweet to savory, and from classic to creative. Every item is freshly made and carefully crafted. So far, none of them has let me down, even items like donuts. Please, try their donuts! it would alter you impression of donuts as fast, easy food.Breka is definitely on my Vancouver must-try list. I would force anyone I know who come to Van to go to Breka with me. And finally it opend 24/7 and item remain fresh throughout. Totally don't know how that is possible. They probably work with aliens (jk.

The apple strudel was good (although I am not a big fan of apples). The Bieninstitch was absolutely delicious. Its a huge cake and the comes at a really reasonable price. The staff are really friendly as well.

Appreciate that this place is open 24/7!! They have a constant supply of delicious drinks and treats available. I’d highly recommend their hot chocolate and challah bread. The staff are always very friendly. Prices reasonable

Love their matcha cream puffs! 10/10, and the staffs are friendly. Thanks for working on Christmas Day !
