Late night coffee spot, it's one of busiest spot in the town for a dessert. All dessert taste great, especially the matcha puff and red velvet cake. Mochas are nice too??Perfect spot for a lil date or sweettooth treat.
Great place to grab a dessert I had a slice of cake and an apple fritter. It was super quick and staff were friendly! Great quality bakery and coffee.
I had the pleasure to try their pistachio donut ($3.25 CAD as of April 2022) and it was simply amazing. So creamy and not overly sweet like the other pastries. Love love love! I hope it's not seasonal/temporary.I also tried London fog donut ($2.50 CAD ) and Lavender Tea latte ($4.25 CAD). Both items were very sweet so I recommend getting a nonsweet beverage to balance the flavors.Great service too!
I ordered 4 desserts, without Tiramisu.But there is a tiramisu in my payment. You can see the picture.They charge me more than I bought. They cheated me.I think everyone should be aware of this.
Top pastries/donuts, very good coffee and it's clean/bright. I'll be dropping by from time to time when I'm in the area for sure.I tried the apple fritters, Boston cream, and coffee long John, each one was delish, super soft and perfectly sweet.Thoroughly recommended over the likes of Timmies if you’re just grabbing a coffee/donut
Coffee and cake is good combination..There is lots of choices of cake and taste very good,not too sweet.
I ordered a few items and they were all right (some too sweet, some fine, some not memorable either way), but what I want to review is their payment system.I've used many credit card payment devices and this one is unique. It's been programmed to show 6 unavoidable tipping options on the home screen when you go to pay, and it's tap-less?!I ordered all items to go, spent only 5 min in the store, and did not want to give a tip. I never tapped my credit card, and I pressed the option for "No tip" so who knows why it happened, but the machine charged me a few dollars tip, AND charged my card without me ever inserting or tapping.Some businesses are programming machines to do this now?? Only Breka, that's who. My card was at least 6" away from the machine. I wasn't yet done entering my selections (confirming the transaction, designating no tip.)Honestly the food is not affordable nor good enough to warrant having spent this much on a few pastries, and I resent the forced tip. It's doubtful I'll be back. Buyer beware.
First time to be there for a quick snack. They have a lot of varieties of sandwiches, tarts and other different bakery options. I liked the heart love cookies. Seating is nice inside and outside .You should know that it’s crowded most of the time especially in the weekends. Parking is street parking . I will go there again for sure.
i've been wanting to go here for ages! finally came and definitely did not regret coming all the way here. i especialllly loved the periodic table that hung outside the door to the washroom!
