We are a Spanish couple that went for dinner with a couple of friends last night. We had been at Bodega already only and we were not impressed but decided to give it another try. The place is well decorated but it was just too noisy. We could barely talk as the music was way too high, and things became worse when the bar downstairs started to play some “party” music. The food; 1. To be clear this restaurant doesn’t make Spanish food, so my review is about food in general We ordered the “pimientos del Padrón”, they were undercooked. When these peppers are undercooked they lose all their taste, and it seems you were eating a row warm salad. The bacalao was dry and no taste either. The squids were good, nice sauce and lot of flavour. The other couple ordered octopus (which they didn’t like as it was overcooked), the chorizo (which it was ok) and the creme brulee which they couldn’t finish as it was just bad. Then we shared the black paella which was the best dish of the dinner (not Spanish, but tasty) The price: really overpriced, you pay as it was high end cuisine for mediocre food. Sangria at 30 bucks the pitcher just blows my mind. I guess is a good place to come party with friends, drink a lot and don’t care too much about the food. Disappointing

We had an unreal dining experience here for my sister's birthday. We love Tapas and everything we ordered was unreal. The service was great and the drinks were amazing. Definitely would recommend checking this place out and we will definitely be returning soon.

The tapas are really good and our server was excellent. The cheese plate, meatballs, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and potatoes were some of our favourites. We also enjoyed the churros. The only thing that surprisingly disappointed me was the sangria, which although good was not great.

Such a wonderful place for Spanish food!!! Their happy hour menu was really good! From the main menu, we had the braised beef brisket which was well put together!

I've always wanted to try Bodega on Main but never got the chance until last night. Went for dinner there with friends and ordered 2 kinds of paellas. They're so good! We ordered the Paella Mixta (saffron rice, seafood and chorizo), and the Paella Negra (squid ink rice and seafood). My goodness! What a treat! The portions are generous and the seafood is so fresh. The squid pieces are so tender. My favourite is the squid ink paella. I love the flavour, especially with a little bit of lemon juice. *chefs kiss*We had leftovers to take home and I had some for lunch the next day. Still yummy!I also had Lengua Estofada (beef tongue) for the first time. It was flavourful and absolutely tender.I ordered the Costillas de Res (beef short rib) to go. Brought it home for kiddo. It was also fork tender and delicious.Slightly disappointed with the Patatas Bravas though. The sauce is tasty but the potatoes themselves last night were bland and dry.Service was friendly and attentive.I'd go back again though.I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the dry and bland Patatas Bravas. Something simple should be delicious.

Hidden gem near the Pacific Central Station. Amazing experience! The server was very friendly, there was a great selection on the menu even during lunch! All 4 dishes we tried was super yummy, especially the grilled peppers and the paella. The paella was decent size, the seafood on it was very fresh, we brought half of it home for dinner. Will definitely go back to try the other dishes.

I've been here a few years ago for drinks and tapas and really liked it ... but I recently visited again and I think the food has changed alot...Every dish was quite hit or miss. As it turns out mostly miss.Cod fish was dry, oh so very dry. Even though it was covered in sauce, it was dry.Chorizo sausage with mustard was super dry and tough.Pork (?) chop was good!Calamari was ok.Potato's bravas was described as double fried but it was pretty soggy and lukewarm instead of hot. Maybe it had been sitting out for a while.Overall the portions were quite small too. And hence each plate was pricey. I'm sad that my rating for this restaurant went down overtime and now I don't think I would recommend or go there anymore.Service is excellent and friendly.

Good food, good atmosphere!

Great place with a nice candlelit ambiance. The food was delicious but quite pricey as servings are quite small. I know that tapas are small plates but still was pricey for the amount. Having said this, food was great as well as the service.
