Absolutely one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, prepared and served by some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met. I wish I had gotten their names! Both the gentlemen and lady were so kind to us and our 2 boys! The pancakes, the banana bread, the scrambled eggs and bacon, and the eggs Benedict were AMAZING! Chia Seed Mango pudding? Never had it, absolutely LOVED it! The eggs Benedict with salmon were so delicate and fluffy and buttery! I’m obsessed by eggs Benny and these were some of the very best! Thank you BLU Capsicum!!

The location was great, the room was comfortable and amenities were very nice (pool, hot tub, and gym). We will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Staff members were kind and always polite. Thank you so much
Everything about this place is excellent. We checked in early with no problem or even questions. Clean, excellent location, gymnasium, pool, laundry available… it has it all. The front desk asked us to text them if we needed anything or had any questions- which we did, and they responded almost immediately. We 100% recommend this place and will stay here next time we are in Vancouver.
Nice looking hotel with super friendly staff. Room was not very clean and the glasses all had lipstick stains. Impossible to sleep with something in the hall beeping 3times every 20seconds for the entire night. Had to go home to get sleep.
A notice was posted in the hotel saying that due to Covid no housekeeping would be provided during my stay. My impression is that rather than passing on the cost savings of that via the room rate they pocketed it.
I find I am staying a few days a month at Hotel Blu and it is ideal. The staff are friendly, the rooms have good sitting and working space and once you've mastered how to turn the shower on they have great bathrooms. They were able to accommodate my dog (a retriever) last visit! The location is surrounded by restaurants and is easy for public transport. Highly recommended as a boutique hotel.
Food was good, but the service was quite slow and could tell the tables around us were getting annoyed.
It was an odd second floor restaurant. Looks like an afterthought in the hotel. We didn’t stay for breakfast as there are better options in the area.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels, both domestically and internationally, and this is one of the finest. All of the quality without pretension. Great facility, fantastic staff, incredible concierge. I'm returning in two weeks, love Vancouver.
