Two stars is for the food. My group of 11 came in (we had kids with us after a long day of sightseeing) and the server seemed very uninterested in accommodating us. Told us to figure out our own seating arrangements because he only had a table of 8 available (the restaurant was not busy at all). Rude customer service otherwise

Location and beer was good, service was not. It was a constant struggle to get our server’s attention. It looked like she intentionally avoided making eye contact with customers. We sat inside by the open window. It soon became very hot with one side of the table in direct sunlight. We attempted to lower the sunshade and we certainly got the server’s attention this time. We were told “don’t you dare” and another staff member near by said “you should have seen the knuckles of the last person who tried that”. We asked if there was another table. No response. I said “are these blinds not for the comfort of your customers?” Received a deer in headlights look from both. It did provide our table with the next conversation, comparing the service to the old Elbow Room. The difference is The Elbow Room’s poor service was all tongue in cheek. Too many pubs around to accept this kind of service.

nice patio, view of the gas town steam clock so you can watch it go off. food was good and they were accommodating of substitutions when i ordered. i don’t eat meat, and i ordered pierogis with the bacon bits on top taken off. once the food arrived, it had meat on it and i told them i couldn’t eat it. it seemed like the server didn’t believe i had ordered it that way. they made me a new one and all was fine. they were out of their only dessert option :( pierogis were taken off the bill which was a nice touch.

Only popped in for a couple of beers whilst visiting town.Driftwood brewery ipa very easy to drink ??Taken off one star as the waitress that served us seemed to have a bit of a grump on.

Drinks were fantastic as staff was. Food was mediocre but still priced fine.Location is fantastic and the little patio/area with the open sides was great area to sit to watch the steam clock.

I honestly love the place. As an Oilers fan living in Vancouver it’s a nice slice of home. As the only Oilers bar in Vancouver they serve as a much needed refuge for us Oilers fan in a sea of Canucks. They are friendly and do their best to keep their Oilers atmosphere (if the Oilers are playing and you don’t watch hockey it’s best to avoid it). They have a decent menu, beer lineup, and they’re a stone throw from the steam clock in the waterfront. Give them the work if you’re an Oilers fan or if you’re just a fan of a good pub in a the waterfront area. They’ll take care of you. And personally a good old tip of the hat from me to them, for making a home sick Edmonton boy feel at home. Cheers to you guys, thanks for everything see you next season.

Excellrnt service with great ambience. Great beer selection and tastey wings

We arrived just before 5pm. There were plenty of choices when it came to seats. Beers were cold and refreshing. The first bartender offered me a drink to try so I would not be left out of the group. I did not get her name however she was pleasant and we felt very welcomed initially.Onion rings were fresh and delicious.Unfortunately, the next bartender to start his shift was a bit cold and refused to make eye contact with my friends and I after trying to make some light talk and left when we heard the first bartender was finishing her shift.

Did you Oilers have a game here tonight oh wait they didn’t win now we have a rude bartender

Always a great time here. Great environment, good selection of drinks and friendly staff. We stop here everytime we are in Van.
