Happy hour beers with friends was nice but the service at this Biercraft was unfortunately really poor. 2/4 the key staff we interacted with were pretty passive aggressive, borderline hostile which was weird/unfortunate. We did not appreciate their attitude - didn't say anything not to sour our own group's mood, but that was just a really poor experience.Also the paper menus were dirty and the QR code didn't load up properly.Caught a minute or two of the live music before we left which sounded really nice.
Used to be one of our favourite places to go, and we still really like the food, but we won't be going back. The service for our last 3 visits has been terrible.Our last two dinners we had to waive a server down whenever we needed something because no one came to our table to take orders (both times the place was only half full). Then a couple days ago we stopped in for happy hour and were overcharged on the food. The server said there must have been a mixup but we had to pay the higher price (apparently there are large and smalls of some items, but no one asked what size we wanted) . Ultimately the money was a small difference, but was the final straw for us in dealing with bad service.
Good beer selection. Otherwise, expensive for what it is. $14.25 for this burger and salad... The burger on its own is $7 so this tiny little salad is $7.25 ?
Mussels were tasty. Donut sliders too. Not a fan of the poutine but we are Americans.
Was a spontaneous after work drinks session. Made it on time for the happy hour and was quite pleased with the service, price and quality of food. It's a beer place with a great selection but I was quite surprised how good the tacos were.
nice cozy place. great beer options, belgian and own brewed flavors. good options in food but few. good place for family, friends or alone.
Yesterday a few of us went to the Biercraft on Cambie. I have to say we quite enjoyed it there. Nice variety of beers. A couple of us shared the mussels and being from the east coast I have to say they were terrific. Great flavor and melted in one's mouth. The rest of the food was very good and the service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. We will come back for sure.
I enjoyed their happy hour tacos the other day when I was in! The jackfruit taco was delicious and only $3.50! They had their house wine on special as well. The service was friendly and welcoming, will definitely be back!
The beer selection is unreal but also try the manna burger, so good!
Great food and restaurant was very nice inside! I did not think it would be from looking at the outside. Every dish was perfect. Fries were so crispy!! Definitely will be our go-to spot for some good food and drinks.
