I love everything about this place. Firstly, the food is phenomenal: the rice is flavourful. The chicken is excellent. The hummus is the best. Crucially, the service is genuinely amazing. The young man who works there is always so kind, so gracious, and has even helped us out with our confusing Ritual order (it all worked out). What a gem of a place.
The falafel is not cooked properly. It feels like you’re biting into raw batter that has been warmed up. It was not nice to eat and I felt sick afterwards. You should check the temperature of your oil and use a timer to cook properly and consistently. The other ingredients were fresh. Although it would be nice if you had middle eastern style pickles instead of the American ones.
So far the best chicken shawarma I’ve had in the last 4 years I’ve been in Vancouver. Juicy, flavourful and mouth-wateringly delicious in every sense of the word. Immense repeat value.
Although there are plenty of authentic restaurants in Vancouver, Arab restaurants here are still a big disappointment. I ordered a shawarma and it was very cold and the chicken tasted awful and the sandwich was full of worthless fillings. A mistake that will not be repeated.
Great Falafel. Veggies & bread were fresh. Nice wrapping that allows you to have it on the go.
Some of the best baklava I’ve had around here, and the chicken shawarma was delicious. Price is also pretty good
This is a quaint little falafel resto which I assume is owned and operated by a lady and a gentleman fro Syria based on the posters in the store. And the food here is delicious! Very friendly lady and the gentleman. I would go back here for more when I'm in the area. Highly recommended!
