Ordered regular size portions of their Low Calorie and High Fibre signature boxes. The portion size was adequate! Our favourite item was probably the coconut curry tofu in their Low Cal box, but both had varied textures and flavors. Their Thai Iced Tea was refreshing and creamy, and not overly sweet. It is a bit pricier, but you're paying for the ingredients and they certainly pack a punch. For those dining in, they have individual and shared tables indoors and patio seating outside - perfect for the summer!
Good, fast thai fusion food. The menus are north americanized. I enjoy both authentic Thai as well as N. Americanized so it's all good!Medium spicy level could be too spicy for some. It was about the same level of spiciness as Korean instant ramen (shin ramen) Pad thai could have used bigger shrimp.
I decided on the "Build Your Box," which is an option you get with four various types of selections......veggies, protein, dressing and end topping.I basically created for myself a shrimp salad, which aside from a steak salad, is my favourite kind of salad. The overall taste of the box was fine, but I felt that the shrimp was not enough. If you are choosing shrimp as your protein it has to be major not minor...it has to take the front seat not the back seat. Also the end tails should've been removed. This is a shrimp salad not a shrimp cocktail. It was the same with the veggies selection, which I got two as I had ordered the medium size of the box. I chose sweet potatoes and the chunks were tiny. I mean barely noticeable. So again, not enough. Any guest walking in is paying for these ingredients as they were given the option to create their own....well ....let them! One thing I hate more than inconsideration is stinginess. The tangy tamarind sauce was nice. It was a sweet and spicy sauce that left a nice taste in your mouth, and the fried onions as an end topping added flavour. Like I just mentioned, my experience here with the box creation was that it tasted fine, but there just wasn't enough of it. Too little, too small, too lacking was the overall theme.I have a small appetite and I was still hungry.
I got the Chicken Pad Thai for a quick lunch and had no complaints. The dining area is really nice, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor patio. As a side note, I also appreciated the trash is sorted with clear notation on what items should go where. Overall, would recommend!
Bought the pad thai with shrimp. Asked for it to be spicy, and to add extra meat (chicken). Also bought one of their tea beverages.Overall, it was very disappointing...Pad thai was bland, not spicy. There was enough shrimp, I guess but definitely not enough chicken even though I paid extra.I paid over 20 dollars for the meal, and to be honest Thai Express is more worth the money.
No and no. I tried it via too good to go and they refused to give me my order within the time frame announced in the too good to go app. I had to wait half an hour for my order. And what I received at the end was far below the expected value. On top of that the food was blah, the rice wasn't properly cooked, and overall meal wasn't flavourful. I got a tofu box.
This is a really clean restaurant. Pricing is not bad but the pad Thai is way too sweet (aka full of sugar). The amount of chicken you get is literally the amount or meat that is one 2 pieces of chicken wings. Honestly, clean and fast service but definitely not a life altering culinary experience for $14.00.
Very yummy . Wish the portion is more generous tho as I wasn't really full after finishing my meal .
A pretty tasty lunch! I had a steak bowl with noodles and tamarind sauce. Lots of great toppings and the sauce was yum. A bit on the oily side, but I enjoyed it overall and will try them again - as well, the staff were very friendly!
Great choice for good food at a great price. The coconut curry broth is delicious. Highly recommended.
