Terrific food, served in a timely and friendly manner. Justin took great care of us despite our being all scatterbrained and aflutter from the good news of the day.Highly recommend the giant peppercorn prawns. The mango passionfruit mocktail was delicious but be careful as there are bits of seed that might take an unexpected journey up your straw. ?

Their mussels are fishy and got a lot of seaweed inside the shells and the sauce was tasteless; manager was so rude, but the waitress was friendly. The roti was cold and chewy. Less than 8 parking space at the back of the restaurant, you need to park on street with $5/ hour.

Foods decent, they’re pretty generous with the meat in the noodle dishes. Tofu Curry could use more sauce. Service is solid. Mens washroom is located in a weird place though, you have pass through the staff cashier area to get there

The 7 course tasting menu for $27/pp is very worth it. The sauce for the roti canai is very very good. The peanuts inside really brings out the overall flavor of the sauce. The rendang beef + curry veggie + rice is very good. The sauce for all these dishes are very well balanced and complement each other very well.Parking is very limited at the back of the restaurant.

Banana Leaf never disappoints me in wherever I go in Vancouver. First time in Broadway restaurant and I loved from the entry point. When most of the restaurants were closed on Sunday evening, Banana leaf was open and served my favourite Beef nasi goreng with Shrimp with complementary nuts.. Portion size is bigger than the Davie Street Banana Leaf and taste was also better. If the partitions put up for covid can be removed, interior would be perfect. Overall great experience and taste 9/10..

Love the food and friendly staff ?❤️

Amazing Malaysia food with so much flavour

We lived in the Malay world for some time - Singapore, Brunei - so are very familiar with the cuisine of these countries which is very similar to Malaysia. We had one of a number of lunch specials...all well priced at about $13 - I always get a char guay teow and here is was well done.;..just the right amount of spice with the prawn and sotong. Wife had the laksa which probably could have used a bit more spice but still very tasty. Lots of staff so service quick and efficient.

I have always enjoyed Banana Leaf food. We tried their dine out menu. It was soooo much food! We enjoyed all of them. The staff were super friendly. And the service was so fast.

Great place in the heart of the City. Fast and friendly service, at an affordable price. I would recommend this restaurant to any downtown worker or passing tourist.
