Really enjoyed the croissants here. I thought they were crispy and airy and full of flavour. Would reccommend the ham and cheese croissant or the almond croissant. Just make sure to go early before they sell out!
Delicious tarts! You can feel they melt in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tip : if you buy more tarts it’s cheaper and they only accept cards
The drinks and desserts were yummy!!!They weren't that overly sweet, just the right amount of sweet!Best of all, the waitresses were kind, so I guess that's the best part?I'd love to go back!!! I wanna try all the different flavors of bread!
I like this shop except the lack of engagement between staff & customers, I know it could be because of it is Take Away (Take- Out) only, but I think it could be better even there is limited to when taking order, other than I enjoy the varieties. BTW, check the open hours as there are open for only couple hours.
Long line. Feels bad when the person in front of you clears out the entirety of one item. That said, the tarts were good and its packaging was also multi-tiered and fancy. The cheesecake was very delicious, with different textures and a nice balance of flavors. Premium price for premium quality.
Wish I called to request the cheesecake ahead of time because i was told it was sold out when I got there at 2 when the tarts were also ready. They were pretty good, iced latte with oat milk was a bit too strong for me, service was good ?
What an incredible find! The cheese tarts (every day at 2pm) are some of the best treats I've ever had. This place has quickly become my favorite bakery in Yaletown.
I always have to stop here by whenever I have time. One of the best bakeries downtown for sure! The gorgeous designs always make me want to try new things and the taste and quality are just superb
The pastries are so yummy - worth the wait and the line ups! My favorite are their filled cream/cheese sticks and the dark chocolate palmiers! I recently tried their croissants which are also amazing - light, fluffy and with a perfect bit of crunch. The pastries aren't too sweet either - just right. Can't wait until they reopen !
I visited here on Nov 12th to help my sweet cravings. There was a lineup formed already at 2:40 so I thought why not trying their treats. I didn't get to browse inside of the store, but it was easy to see through the glass. I smiled sweet toasty scent of tarts, and pastries YUM! I had Choco Drizzle ($4.90), Matcha Tart ($3.80) and Dalgona Latte ($5.30) they were pretty good. Choco Drizzle was excellent it had crunchy texture filled with cream inside. Matcha tart was good just that it was so small and expensive. Everything was made fresh. So glad the staff got the right order. My Dalgona Latte was half sweeten as I requested it. Can't afford to go here often, but Bake 49 is SO worth visiting.
