The food is pretty average. It's not bad but it's not exceptional either. I don't have any complaints about my time there but food has to be great to get repeat customers. My pina colada was sad but I didn't expect much going into the restaurant, because it was obvious they don't specialize in drinks. Few others places down the street offer similar or better experience so I don't see myself going there. Plus the dine in ambience is a little shady. They are sitting at a prime touristy location but haven't bothered about the interiors of the place which in my opinion is just baffling so I'd give them an average rating.
I really live this food, and they had nice service too!!
Great location in English Bay. Saw the recomendation on You Tube to try this place out. They did not disappoint. I had the chicken shawarma plate and asked for extra crispy. Great portions and flavour. Recommend.
Ordered lamb shank and had a complain about it but the owner was very quick to take a note of it, followed up and insisted on making a new order for me without any extra charge and offered extra sides as well with the new order. The food was good and the lamb shank was tender.
Went there few days ago late at night to order chicken shawarma plate to go. The Filipino staffs were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this place! Food was good portion and still hot by the time I arrived from home.
One of the best middle eastern places in Vancouver. The owner and the workers are extremely nice. I ordered the chicken shawarma and the Plate and the quantity and quality was spot on. The owner also gave us free fries. Great place
Always fantastic service, love the drinks very affordable and delicious. The chicken shawarma was absolutely delicious. I come back here every weekend.
I think we can all agree that shawarma is the greatest food on earth. But Indian cuisine is a close second.Babylon Cafe has to be my all time favourite place for a great shawarma.
Been going there for year and always loved it. Yesterday I got my Shawarma wrap on a tortilla…? Yes a tortilla. And it was not even a good tortilla… floppy rubbery industrial type tortilla. The whole thing was soggy and weird. Dont change a good thing. Will go next door from now on.
Worst shawarma we have had in Vancouver. We had the chicken wrap and mixed wrap. Both meats were dry and over cooked. Wrap was soggy and over sauced to compensate. Donair dude is much better
