I have no pictures because we were too excited to eat. Food is fabulous. I'm from Toronto and have been dying for Vancouver to have Trini food! Thank you thank you??. We will be regulars. All I would say is call/order early in case they don't have what you want because they may run out since their food is DELICIOUS. Looking forward to ordering again ❤️ also we ordered doubles, chicken curry(all 3 ways), goat curry on rice ?
WOW! Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.First time having Trinidad food and if this is an example of it, I am moving to Trinidad! ??The staff was extremely helpful over the phone when I was trying to decide what to get for a group and was patiently explaining the items. When I came to pick up, the staff was again extremely friendly.The food was delicious! The Goat and the Veg were both very flavorful and well cooked. Give this place a try.
The oxtail was good, was a treat at that price. The curry beef was dry and not enough sauce but was still enjoyed by daughter.It took 45 mins to get our food after ordering in person.
I was so surprised to find a trini shop in Vancouver, given the lack of Carribean community here. The doubles, curry beef and buss up shut taste just like how my parents used to make them. Definitely call ahead to place your order to make sure they have what you want. I hope this place sticks around for years to come. Such a great addition to Commercial!
It has a NY vibe roti shop feel. Roti is top notch. I love a good Dhal puri. I'm not sure of the owner but I've seen some people that truly care about what they are doing . There is a little wait for your food so I recommend you call in advance pick-up and go. Average wait time for a good meal is 20 to 30 min. Being from Trinidad I like to support black entrepreneurs and this shop gets my vote. Don't be shy to ask for a little extra?? 2 De bone
Wonderful little spot for the perfect take out. The warmth from the spices is executed in such a pleasant way. Goat curry was lights out. Doubles are soft and pillowy goodness. Staff was friendly and genuinely made me feel welcome.
The picture of the doubles would not reflect how good they are. The dough is super soft and the chickpeas melt in your mouth; super flavourful. Real authentic food and the lady at the cashier is super friendly. I look forward to going there again and trying more stuffs from their menu. I also tried their beef curry with dhal puri and it slaps
I was very disappointed with the food, we waited awhile and it was not what I expected. I read the reviews and they were great so my expectations were high.. I'm not sure if it's because it was closer to the closing time but either way it should still fresh. We were not asked if we wanted pepper on our food and that was also our mistake, but we still should have been asked. I didn't enjoy my meal it had too much pepper/hot sauce. I still applaud them for their efforts.
Oh wow! This is a very tasty comfort food!Go but don’t go too often or they might sell out!The guy who took our order was friendly and very helpful for my first Trinidadian cuisine experience!
Ordered the curry goat today. Great flavor and spice level. Absolutely fantastic!
