We were seated right away on a Tuesday evening on their spacious patio – the perfect spot for people watching. They have 50% off bottles of wine on Tuesday so we decided on a bottle of rose which was very refreshing! We started out with the duck liver and prosciutto & salumi appetizers – both were fantastic, fresh and of great quality. They had a number of specials for the day (lamb ragu, stuffed pasta, salad of the day, etc.), however I opted for the tagliatelle bolognese while my friend had the linguine puttanesca. The pasta was delicious and the bolognese was hearty and fulfilling.Service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Great spot for some casual Italian fare!
Great spot with that genuine Italian style hospitality. As a lone traveller, the staff took time to make me welcome, & chat when they could. Noisy, with other diners obviously enjoying themselves. The Vitello Tonnato took me back to many trips through Italy. Incredibly tender, slightly underdone with a delicious hit of flavour from the sauce. Great fun sitting up at the bar watching the hustle & bustle in the kitchen.
Visited here a week or so ago and had a great time. Our server was very helpful with explaining all the dishes were having and providing recommendations. For appies we had the duck liver, tuna crudo and vitello tonnato (shaved veal). Favorite was probably the duck liver with the crostini. The crostini was crispy and light browned which went great with the duck liver. The veal was very good as well with very tender veal and sauce.Don't remember the name of the mains we ordered but, we basically all had pasta. I had a tortellini style stuffed pasta. Lots of cheese flavor and some veal I believe. This place is a little bit on the expensive side and portions was not that big. Still a good experience and worth a visit. Really loved the duck liver appetizer.
Have wanted to come here for so long and finally did! The food in general was good. We got gluten free pasta, chicken, and 2 desserts. I was a tiny bit disappointed because after reading other reviews I thought they would have better gluten free options for bread and pasta but no they didn’t have gluten free bread. The gluten free option for pasta is not the right kind of pasta for the dishes but they were still good. The prosciutto appertizer is a must order, for the price is a bit expensive but the cheese was amazing. The chicken I really like, but maybe the waitress oversell it a little bit as It wasn’t mind blowing as she described. Still enjoyed it. Desserts were kind of okay. By this point I was full out of my mind. The whole meal was good! But I wouldn’t come back. Thank you for the meal
Portions are extremely small compared to the price, and the variety of dishes is very limited.Food tasted good! Location was well decorated.
This place is cozy and slightly cramped but that's about the only flip side. I am not a big Italian food fan and went there only because my wife loves pasta and other Italian food. The place is noticeably very vibrant and every one of their dishes was very good. We started with the beef with tuna sauce and meatballs along with their tuna Crudo for appys and they were simply out of this world. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. Their Osso Bucco was not up to the mark but if its the first time you are having it you wont know better. The marrow bone inside was missing which is what adds to the flavors. All in all a good experience but slightly on the pricy side.
Reliable specials. All the amari.
Yummy yummy Italian cuisine (ensure make reservation before you go) even though on weekdays evening, still full housemust order the pasta ?! (so hungry forgot to take photos ?)
Came here to celebrate the hubby's birthday and everything from food to service was top notch. The pasta was perfectly cooked and I even scraped the bottom of the plate because it was THAT tasty! Apart from food, I thoroughly enjoyed the limoncello spritz and my hubby regretted not getting that as well. The only complaint I have is that the portion sizes are very small and even after 2 drinks, 2 pastas and 1 appetizer, we still left feeling slightly hungry.
I've been wanting to try out Autostrada for a while, and I'm so glad we did. Truly amazing service and the food was sublime. Hard to find pasta that's this perfectly made outside of Bologna or by someone's Italian granny. Really tasty daily specials that are worth sampling. It seems like a lot of thought goes into the dish preparation, so you're presented with lovely plates that are wonderfully tasty. Great wine and drink selection as well, the tiramisu was divine, and the whipped cream on the torta caprese was wonderfully decadent and the perfect topper for this dessert. And thanks so much for stocking decaf espresso! Cheers, can't wait to stop by again.
