Sad to see the quality of food and service standards of this place deteriorating. Don’t order their Channa Bhatura ever. Our last visit it was crisp as a papad and today oily & hard. When we tried to give feedback, one of their staff member Ms.Kim was so disrespectful, arrogant and harsh. They claim this is how Bhatura’s are made told us it’s our choice to come back or not. so an advise.. stay away from “Apna Bhaia Sweet Shop & Restaurant” if you want to have a respectful, tasty and peaceful family meal.
Visited few days ago with family.Daughter got food poisoning. And after 2 days my son and wife are down. Worst ever experience . Sweets we packed had worst smell later mistakenly eaten by family.I am going to complain to the food authority now
4 stars is for food I have eaten previously. Today, bhature were undercooked. I am a regular customer and I love the food but today it wasn’t good.
Their food is so good! I always order take out and it travels really well. I would highly recommend their Gol Gappe, their Shahi Paneer, and their fresh rotis. It feels like the food is made with love!
Try the bread pakoda here. It's very tasty , get the tamarind chutney with it for sure. Great service. Really good taste and very affordable. The casher girl was cute when I went here.
Good and tasty food, i didnot get any cutlery which i think is important with take out orders
They have an Aloo Matar (chick pea rice )rice combo which I have been eating since 10 years every time I am in Vancouver. It costs 5 dollars and you can ask them to spice it up if you like. I give it four stars because it tastes okay, the quantity is not that much but I keep coming back for it. I can't explain this. The owner has special Mirch pakoda (pepper)which he invented for himself to eat when he has Bacardi. You can try it. He calls it a pepper pakoda. The place is next to a busy bus route and busy.
Good Punjabi restaurant for daily normal eating.Sweets & appetizers are good and if lookin for dinner then I give 10/5 and nonveg goat curry have to try give Punjabi taste. But if you going for date or family dinners then it will be not that place.
Worst quality food ever experienced now in Canada.. Before I was addicted to eat food from this place, and I was regular customer. However, from last 6, 7 visits I noticed they are giving stale food. My last visit on Nov 6,2021 at 1.30 PM, I ordered Channa bhatura (fried Indian bread) that was completely cold, seems made an hour ago and served. When I complained and they just recooked same on hot plate and served, that totally changed its fragrance and texture. When I asked server girl to call the Manager, she replied manager is coming to meet you. But after calling again two times manager didn't come. Later when paid bill, I again asked to meet manger, then they said manager didn't come toady.I never reffer anyone to visit this restaurant who has worst food quality ( stale food) and poor customer service.
Tasty food.Feels like India in Vancouver
