For year's I have been wanting to have a piece of pie here, finally got a delicious piece of key lime pie ?Mid May 2022 back again, bought one of their small spinach and goat feta pot pie. Had it today, tasty and since only me, enough for another meal.
Just okay / not great. Expensive for what you get ($20+ for basic eggs), staff mean well but overall service is “meh” (it’s run by inexperienced teenagers), etc.Amazing that people line up for this place, lol.
Bought a whole vanilla banana cream pie for an Easter dinner and it was superb. everyone loved it! Their service is also phenomenal, could tell the two fellows really cared about the customers, and made sure I had all the instructions for keeping the pie cold. Quality is amazing, and the filling was not too sweet, all the cream was real and fresh. They also do a chocolate version! Prices will be higher than a supermarket, but the quality is incomparable. Plus you're supporting a local small business! Their restaurant is right across the street :)
Loved this place. I thought they would be rude as I get different types of service now bc of Covid. Nice here but horrible other places sometimes. It’s a gamble now out there in the world but this place has really good pie and really good service. Will definitely go back even though it’s expensive lol.
Every bakery should be this good. And they will be under luxury communism ??
They were used to be good, but now one slice of pie is too expensive...
I've always been a huge fan of pie, and often bake my own. I wanted to find the best pecan pie in Vancouver and was incredibly disappointed. Not only were 2 slices of pie just overv$17.00.... We ended up just throwing the pie out. The first picture is the top of the pie and the last 2 are what the bottom looks like, it was so soggy, there was no salvaging it. It was almost if the filling WAS the bottom of the pie and there was no bottom crust. It was too sweet, too soggy and not worth the drive or the price. I have never thrown out pie before, it was my first time.
Phenomenal pies. Just eat one already! That's right, the entire thing in one sitting, by yourself. You won't regret it.
This place used to be good. But $20 for two slices of virtually inedible pie is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed.
