What I like about this cafe is its calm environment. It’s great to sit down to study but that’s where it ends for the positive aspects. The whole point of going to a cafe is to get drinks and from the handful of the ones I tried with my partner nothing peaked my interest. Although to be fair it could be my horrible preference in beverages hence the 4 star
Really enjoyed the coffee and matcha here. The food was OK. Great ambience, feels like you're sitting in somebody's cozy living room!
I’ve been here at least 10 times over 2-3 years at this point, and I really love the atmosphere, drinks, and food here! 10/10 for that!One thing I have noticed though is that I have never received warm service here. It has always been very neutral, and I am always very friendly but I never get it back. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I would go here more often if I had better interactions!
Used to come here when it was The Grind - loved it. Just now I was the only person at the counter. 2 people working behind it. I waited 7 minutes. Even said “excuse me” which was not acknowledged.I decided to walk half a block to Cafe Artigiano - greeted with a smile AND service. Very disappointed.***this is for the Main / King Ed location which has comments/rating turned off.
Very cute cafe, I really liked the matcha latte. The grilled cheese was just ok, hot sauce with it was a nice touch though. Inside is super cozy and cute for studying.Next time would need to check where to turn on the power bar to charge my laptop.
A very cozy place to sit down and have coffee. Its such a cute cafe with a very nice atmosphere. Their drinks are decently priced and are extremely worth it as they are very tasty. I highly recommend it to a lot of my friends. Their service is okay as well, staff is nice.
The cutest little coffee shop! Such a warm and cozy atmosphere with very jazzy, relaxed background music. The food is great and it’s set up super well for getting work done!
I love everything about this coffee shop! The decor is warm, thoughtful and cool yet not pretentious. The staff are friendly and yet also laid-back. And the coffee is great! I feel super lucky that this we have Aperture cafe in Vancouver. Such a community asset!
Tried lots of lunch spots around mount pleasant and this spot is so underrated!! Absolutely delicious food, great coffee, great atmosphere, friendly staff and not overpriced!!! Just lovely all round.
What a fantastic vibe! Exposed wood and brick, vintage furniture, plants hanging everywhere, and best of all every wall has bookshelves! Worked out of here for a few hours and it was awesome.The coffee is fantastic and so is the breakfast. Top notch coffee shop!
