Excellent Food!My daughter and I stopped here randomly last night and had a great meal. She ordered the Spicy Pork Belly , which had a delicious slighly sweet chile sauce and perfectly cooked rice. I had the Kimchee Udon, which was lovely.We got 3 side dishes - I can never get enough of Korean sides - sweet potatoes, salad and some fresh homemade kimchee. The decor was super fun and kitchy, like a museum and could be a good place to take (polite) kids. The service was good but it was late and we had the place to ourselves. I wouldn't mind if it was busier so I'm recommending to all of you.
If I wasn't so hungry, I would have left more of the food - it might be OK for a non-Korean palate, but for Korean taste buds, this place will bring a lot of disappointment. Even the rice was not very sticky and the rest of it was not much better.
Went for dinner at Andamiro Korean Bistro and it was disappointing. As others have said, it seems to have gone downhill.Went for a Friday evening dinner and shared the Andamiro combo ($60.99) and yangnyeom chicken ($13.99). Combo comes with a seafood pancake (best dish of the evening), soft tofu soup (bland), jabchae, beef bulgogi and two bowls of rice. The KFC was dreadful. Chicken wasn’t even warmed up properly. The banchan (kimchi, salad, potato and sliced radish) were small and tasteless.Drive the extra couple minutes and go to Yook Korean Grilled BBQ & Bistro, Shilla Korean Restaurant or Sumi Korean Restaurant.
The food was considerably cheap but no side dishes. Quiet and waitresses were kind. The food wasnt it the most suitable serving bowls. The poor reviews are a bit unfair as they compare it to old quality. Otherwise, the place was decent.
Had the worst jjamppong, 4pieces of small prawns and 4slice thin of squid... Where are the muscles and clams? Feel like instant powder soup base... This place went downhill during pandemics, menu is so small now, I used to come here for gajamtang and grill mackerels, they took that off the menu... Very sad..
Great service. Their pork bone soup was tasty and not too spicy. love that the rice cake dish came with instant noodles!
This little Korean family style restaurant is my togo place when I don’t know what to eat, i’s the best place for comfort food. They have pretty large portions so I really recommend come here with friends to share.I personally think their seafood pancake is the best in the city, and I really like their stir fry udons yummm ?
A good restaurant with reasonable prices.Foods are tasty but a little on the greasy side.Overall will return.
The fried chicken came out cold and when we brought it to their attention, they tried to tell us it wasn't, and that we had let it sit for 10 min before eating. I was so hungry that I was willing to burn my mouth on some so food so that statement was completely false. I'm guessing they put it on a cold pan and forgot about it or else gave us some pre made food because it wasnt even warm, never mind hot. Not quite sure why they decided to debate with us over that but I'm guessing they were afraid we would expect a discount? As soon as they heard that all we wanted was for them to heat the thing up, they were more than willing to do it without further argument. It wasnt just that they wouldnt accept that it was cold and never offered to fix the problem but the other food we ordered wasnt good either. I love banchan and we got only 2, Kimchi and potatoes. The kimchi was completely tasteless. It tasted like they just threw some red pepper flakes on it and soaked it in water for 5 minutes. The potatoes which tasted like it was boiled in sugar water for a few minutes had a weird smell. The seafood pancake and japchae were ok, not great, but the sauce for the seafood pancake tasted like straight soy sauce with no sesame, no green onions or the usual stuff in it. Nothing tasted authentic which had me wondering if the owners/cooks were even Korean. I hardly ever write bad reviews when I dont like something, I usually just move on and wont come back but the experience with the service left a bad taste in my mouth as well which is why I am leaving a 2 star review.
