One of the best fast food restaurants in Canada. Very good service and quality food. I visit at least once every 6 weeks or so. And they are always creating new products to try.
The restaurant was clean and service was quick and friendly. Food was good as usual for A&W. Convenient location, but parking is a bit of a pain here.
I’ve always had the most pleasant customer service experience at this A&W location (Oak & 49th). Their space is clean and comfortable, and simply very welcoming :) Thank you for the wonderful service and smiles! Even makes the burgers and onion rings tastier… hmmm…
Came here after a long days work and was happily greeted by the staff! The one lady working at the till was smiling - made my day! Plus the food is always good :)
As a veg, A&W and the beyond burger have long been my favourite. I recently came to this location and I got that “best burger ever” with a beyond patty and it really was the best burger ever…
Good Service, food took a little longer than expected most likely because of the dinner rush. The burgers were blander than usual and the burgers were kinda cold (not frozen but also not piping hot). I ordered to go and ate the food as soon as we drove off so I was a bit surprised with the temperature. Fries were hot and fresh. Overall it was just OK, I mean can't really expect much with fastfood.
I came in on Wednesday 11am.The server is amazing and extremely efficient. She was the only one working at the counter. She is the best worker I seen so far at a&w.
I came to the A&W at Oak Street and 49th Ave twice with my nephews. Once in Dec 2021 and another time in Jan 2022. My younger nephew has severe allergies to milk, nuts and eggs. So before ordering I asked the staff for help in selecting foods which would be safe for him. My nephew was dubious at first thinking that the staff would be ignorant of what allergens would be present in which foods as that was his experience with fast food chains. To our pleasant surprise she was very knowledgeable and also had access to a detailed reference manual listing ingredients in every food item on the menu. She patiently helped us decide what my nephew could safely eat. The second time we went we sought help again. We had the same pleasant experience from another female staff member. My nephew is now a big fan of A&W!
Very unclean, service was slow, and food was at best average. I'll give 2 stars for the friendly service, but I don't think I'll be going here again.
This place doesn't have a drive through that I can see and if it does, there's no clear marking about it, I am pretty sure it does not and the parking here it's very small and tight and there are other businesses in this square so it is very tight to park, you have to be careful because it is busy
