I have been dining at the Broadway and Cambie A&W for the past 3 years during the COVID lockdowns and prior.The food and staff at this location is simply amazing. The service is always top notch and the food is always prepared fresh and always consistent.The staff are always very friendly and respectful with me and from what I've seen with all other customers, even during some difficult time over the past 2 years.
Extremely dissatisfied. I was waiting so cold outside, knocked on their door twice staring at the staff, but she kept working preparing for food for another customer.While my food was already ready sitting on the table ready for pickup.The other customer ordered after me…. I waited for a total of 30 mins in the car.What the actual fxxx!!!
The best burger ever is seriously addicting. Also had probably the best fast food poutine ever.
It's says 24/hr but it's NOT 24/hr. I walked here after checking their hours before leaving my place. Arrive around 12:15am lights on, manager (or whoever) inside shoo'd me from behind the locked door when I tried to enter. Went and got terrific pizza down the street instead... But get this... As I'm walking past A&W on the way home around 12:55am the manager is sitting in the fully lit restaurant eating an A&W meal while another lost customer was trying the locked doors and also confused. I told him about the pizza a couple doors down.
Had a craving for onion rings ?And saw another customer with a thirst-quenching root beer ? so I had to get one too ???
This is the worst A&W in BC by far. They mess up the orders (one time the burgers didn’t even match anything on the menu, they were improvised, improvised badly). If use Skip the dishes its 75% chance your order never arrives, one time when it finally did arrive it had a hand written note “sorry we ran out of fries so we gave you a cola”, still charged for the fries. If i was Skip the Dishes, Door Dash, Uber Eats I would drop this location as an option as it creates a real risk of hurting their brand.
We tried the new gouda ? burger. What a nice taste. My friend had a Moma burger and commented about all meat is grass fed. We also got front row seats to watch the protest for the old growth forest blocking Cambie and Broadway .As I add on to my edit... $3.99 teen ? burger! Yum. It's is so enjoyable to have no antibiotics or hormones in the meat.
This was the best A&W delivery of all time. My man handed out the single best lettuce wrapped teen burger of all time. Legendary status. Man should be manager.
It's an a&w, you kinda know what you'll get. They have good burgers but are priced a bit higher than average.
This place was busy,and I still got my food fast with great friendly service. Thanks ?
